ALCS: Blue Jays vs. Indians
Blue Jays still very much in this. Cleveland starting pitching just isn't good after Kluber. If their bats can come back to life, the can take this to game 7.

NLCS: Cubs vs Dodgers
QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Oct 18, 2016 -> 10:17 PM) Also not a good postseason for Montgomery. They need a long man man for a quick pull on Lackey. He's usually it. Do they have someone else? What happened to Adam Warren?

6 run game. Put in Baez to finish it. Save Jansen.

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Oct 18, 2016 -> 04:09 PM) Is Aaron Rodgers ever gonna return to his old self? I lost Big Ben for a few weeks, only have Bortles on my bench. The Rodgers owner contacted me about a trade but I'm just worried he's gonna keep on sucking. I doubt he'll have problems with the Bears this week.

NLCS: Cubs vs Dodgers
QUOTE (Harry Chappas @ Oct 18, 2016 -> 03:08 PM) The MLB and Fox sports treatment of the cubs is insane and almost borders on negligent. http://www.latimes.com/sports/la-sp-dodger...snap-story.html The rain out and delaying the announcement of the start time until 12 hours before is almost beyond belief. They haven't played a single non-primetime game yet. It really is unfair for the other 6 teams.

Apparently Bauer wanted to burn his finger to stop the bleeding. That guy is crazy!

QUOTE (greg775 @ Oct 18, 2016 -> 12:23 AM) Southsider, it's ridiculous all the apologists for Hillary. But nobody cares. I don't watch much news but this is silly. Hillary has the media in her hip pocket and it's rigged for her in 'many' ways. You think Fox News is for Hillary now? lmao

Blue Jays are just in a funk with the bats. Cleveland pitchers outside of Miller, Kluber, and Allen aren't even that good.

2016 Republican Thread
QUOTE (greg775 @ Oct 17, 2016 -> 04:02 PM) Hillary supporters never answer me they just blame the messenger or blast me. What did I say out of line? Have you seen Trump rallies? Or read about them? Packed. Hillary's? Downtown Kansas City was expecting to be shut down and only a few fans trickled in to hear her speech. Crazy. Even on Soxtalk. Nobody points out anything good about her. Her supporters (almost all of Soxtalk) want her President and that's about it. They also rip and mock Trump, which of course is easy to do. But this isn't about Trump being bad. It's about Hillary and all signs point to a Presidency that will be dreadful. We already know there's no chance in hell anything's getting passed with Congress (the Repub majority) despising her. And lets see if we are safe internationally under her leadership. Are you seriously using attendance at certain rallies to measure popularity? You do realize that Trump has probably the craziest base of supporters any US presidential candidate has ever seen right? Those people will go head over heels for him, so it's no wonder his rallies are popular. However, those people do not represent the mindset of America.

QUOTE (greg775 @ Oct 17, 2016 -> 03:52 PM) You know what's weird? Amy Schumer blasts Trump and gets booed and 200 people leave her show. Trump rallies truly are packed and Hillary's draw virtually hundreds not thousands. And yet Hillary is the runaway winner. Can you say ... rigged? Even with all of Trump's horrible statements he still is more popular than Clinton. https://www.yahoo.com/news/amy-schumer-dona...-151524058.html p.s. Schumer has some fight in her. I saw another clip of her where she had a heckler booted from the arena. In Florida she was all upset and said if anybody said anything more they'd be tossed out. She reminds me of Janaene Garapolo, so edgy it ruined Janene's career. God damn it Greg... You keep saying you're not going to vote for Trump...but you might as well.

QUOTE (ChiliIrishHammock24 @ Oct 16, 2016 -> 11:06 PM) Rizzo and Russell are a combined 2 for 39 (.051 avg). For their careers, Rizzo is a postseason .127 hitter, Russell is a .117 hitter. Both hit #3 and #5 respectively. It might be time for them to move Baez up. Go Fowler Bryant Zobrist Baez Rizzo Contreras Russell Heyward

NLCS: Cubs vs Dodgers
QUOTE (2005thxfrthmmrs @ Oct 16, 2016 -> 10:28 PM) With Kershaw only throwing 84 pitches tonight, you gotta think he's out there again for game 5 again. That is the only reason I'd see why Roberts pulled him so early. But even then, that's risky. Jansen is one hell of a closer, but pulling the best pitcher in baseball when he has at least one inning left in him is a ballsy move that can easily blow up in your face.

QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Oct 16, 2016 -> 06:43 PM) Gotta be some sort of injury with Rodgers, right? Or just a complete loss of confidence. He seemed much more indecisive in the pocket. Almost Cutler-like with some of his pump fakes.

ALCS: Blue Jays vs. Indians
QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Oct 14, 2016 -> 11:26 PM) That Indians line up doesn't seem like it should be good at all. Lindor and Kipnis are both really good consistent hitters who do pretty much everything well. Santana and Napoli are their power bats. Jose Ramirez basically came out of nowhere this season. They don't look great on paper, but they produce on the field.

NLDS: Dodgers vs. Nationals
QUOTE (OmarComing25 @ Oct 14, 2016 -> 12:56 AM) Even without Jansen the rest of their bullpen still had more WAR than the entire Cub pen. Wow you're right. Hard to believe the Cubs bullpen without Chapman is worth like 2 WAR. Rondon really regressed after a great start to the year.

NLDS: Dodgers vs. Nationals
QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Oct 13, 2016 -> 11:50 PM) definitely better than the hot dumpster fire that the giants had. Give the Giants a guy like Melancon and I think they have a pretty solid bullpen. They have depth, but they just don't have a quality closer.
