Who is excited for the shift to maybe, possibly come to an end?
They could just go back to using the juiced ball... That seemed to work fine. My concern with "banning the shift" is in how badly the MLB is going to fuck this up. I mean, how do you even begin to regulate where players can, and cannot be? If it's just getting rid of the extreme shifts that are an abomination, I'm all for it. But who knows what they are going to do. Also, it's interesting you chose the year 2000, which was almost a total outlier.

Michael Kopech is disgusting
Kopech looks like this after surgery, so it's a bit different than Sale, isn't it? Sale has 9 starts over the last 3 seasons, and is hurt again this season.

Michael Kopech is disgusting
I think Kopech is the best pitcher in baseball right now. He's just as good as Sale was. Does he maintain that over several seasons? I don't know. But his stuff is absolutely filthy. Not many guys can throw as hard as he does, with that much movement. Sale was amazing, but everyone knew his arm was going to fall off at some point. Kopech seems to be able to throw what he throws, effortlessly.

How about not hitting every single ball to 1/4th of the field, as a hitter? Shifts were a thing before computer complied data, because so many players can pretty much only pull the ball. This is a dumb ass proposal. Most shifts could be beat 100% of the time by...knowing how to bunt. Or just put the bat on the ball, and direct it where to go. This is on hitters.

Michael Kopech is disgusting
But, the Sox lost the Chris Sale trade, right???? I wouldn't trade prime Kopech for prime Sale, straight up. Even if their salaries were identical... And somehow, people think the Sox LOST that trade. Never mind this guy called Yoan Moncada. Lol @ Sox fans. Unreal idiots.

Same story, different message board... He's like this in regards to all sports.

Jesus Christ. One of the worst posts on a sports forum I've EVER read. You really are a miserable human being.

6/4/22 Sox @ Rays, 3:10 pm
Can someone tell me why Burger isn't a viable option at DH, at least until he cools off? I mean, aside from the dumb fucking zombie managing this team?
-
6/4/22 Sox @ Rays, 3:10 pm
Two guys who arguably should have been starting today....

6/4/22 Sox @ Rays, 3:10 pm
"Respect for the game". Gotta give those veterans every chance to prove themselves, even when it is losing you gamed. Was Yaz really the DH again?

6/4/22 Sox @ Rays, 3:10 pm
Engel, who for some reason hasn't started in 3 games, starts the inning off, and scores...

6/4/22 Sox @ Rays, 3:10 pm
The players will be fine.

6/4/22 Sox @ Rays, 3:10 pm
Less, if possible. I'd say fans should boo TLR whenever he shows his face, but he doesn't wake up to come out of the dugout very often. Last game I was at, he was getting booed and heckled quite a bit. And the Sox weren't nearly as lifeless as they are now.

6/4/22 Sox @ Rays, 3:10 pm
Maybe, just maybe, guys don't want to play for TLR, and it's reflected in their play? This happens in ALL sports. They've clearly quit on their coach.
-
6/4/22 Sox @ Rays, 3:10 pm
Good. This organization doesn't deserve ANY fans. Those that show up should boo them incessantly. But the only message their stupid fucking owner understands, contains dollar signs. So just don't show up, people.

6/4/22 Sox @ Rays, 3:10 pm
This team is done. No energy. No life. No hunger. They have assumed the identity of their manager. Nothing is going to change until they clean out the coaching staff. This is a lost season. Fuck you JR.
-
Moncada + Grandal
The entire fucking team does. When your manager has the energy of a corpse, what do people expect? They need an injection of energy and excitement in the dugout. TLR was one of the worst fits I've ever seen hired in any sport.

GT 6/3: SOX @ TB, 6:10 PM CDT, NBCSC
Lmao. What the hell was that?

GT 6/3: SOX @ TB, 6:10 PM CDT, NBCSC
Softly hit ground ball and Leury was nowhere near it. Didn't look like he saw it at all coming off the bat. Everything about this team sucks.
-
GT 6/3: SOX @ TB, 6:10 PM CDT, NBCSC
This team sucks. It's amazing to me their entire coaching staff hasn't been jettisoned. Then again, it's Chicago. Worst group of owners of any major market.

White Sox @ Blue Jays 2:07 PM, Cueto (0-1, 2.41) vs. Manoah (5-1, 1.77)
You could likely pull names out of a hat, and come up with a better lineup. I'm honestly at a total loss here. This guy's brain is completely fucking fried.

White Sox @ Blue Jays 2:07 PM, Cueto (0-1, 2.41) vs. Manoah (5-1, 1.77)
I don't even...

Menechino is movable
A team that is way too comfortable at home? Not enough focus? Better on the road, as there's more structure/routine to road games? Those splits are mind bogglingly terrible.

TA out 3 weeks
I assume they are team physicians, right?? Very rarely will a player seek a diagnosis from outside the organization. I'm just lumping them in with the "training staff", because the entire fucking organization seems to be completely incompetent when it comes to training and recovery. This team is as injury prone as it gets. How many guys have we watched come back from injury, only to immediately reaggravate that injury? Or come back looking like they're at like 60%? Three weeks for a groin injury that looked as painful as TA's was just seems absolutely fucking absurd to me... I'd love to know how they determined it's just a grade 1 strain. I want TA to come back 100% healthy. The last thing this team needs is him coming back too early and fucking up that groin even worse than it is. This team doesn't get the benefit of the doubt.
