  1. QUOTE (SOXOBAMA @ Jan 23, 2012 -> 12:22 PM) Damn the Niners have to face the Saints, Packers, Jets and Pats on the road next season. Plus face the Giants, Lions and Bears at home. I see the 49ers winning the NFC West with a 11-5 record. You can go ahead and put an L on the Bears/49ers game
  2. I'm not gonna goof on HeGone or SoxObama because the way the 49ers lost was really horrible, but you guys also have to realize the way we lost to the Packers was also demoralizing, we lost Cutler and our D kept us in the game long enough for our 3rd string QB to make the game interesting, we could only imagine what would've happened if we had our QB all game long. We might've won or maybe not but we'll never know for sure.
  3. QUOTE (HeGone33 @ Jan 22, 2012 -> 10:22 PM) Well, it was a great game but have to give credit to the Giants, they deserved to win. The future is bright, just need to get Alex some receivers and we will be back. Still upset with Kyle but starting to feel bad for the guy... The offense had 4 chances after the first screw up. Congratulations, you guys accomplished what we did last year, lose at home in the NFC Championship game
  4. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jan 22, 2012 -> 06:40 PM) Steve Dahl @SteveDahl Again, Cutler's protection fails him #Bears lol
  5. Now that the Giants tied it up, can't let SF score on their next posession.
  6. Giants can't give up long plays to Alex f***ing Smith and expect to win.
  7. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jan 22, 2012 -> 05:48 PM) I like to think that, but I'm not sure. Because the Packers locked up the division, the Bears had two potential opponents as the wild card: 1. Saints: Unbeatable at the Superdome this year 2: Giants: Not the best home team, but the hottest team in the league Then a game at GB or SF, would have been tough This I agree with SoxFan1, Bears were playing as well as any team in the NFL prior to Cutler getting hurt but that scenario you lay out in your post is spot on, it would be tough to go to those places and beat the home team.Not impossible but not likely...
  8. QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Jan 22, 2012 -> 05:42 PM) Also as a Bears fan, I can't help but feel that we would be in this NFC Championship game if Cutler was healthy. I don't know about that, no doubt we would've made the playoffs but I don't think we would've beaten NO, NY or GB.
  9. QUOTE (MurcieOne @ Jan 22, 2012 -> 05:31 PM) Brady sounded pretty somber during the AFC trophy presentation. He knows he didn't play well today. "I sucked pretty bad today." he said. Sounds like he feels he dodged a bullet. If they go on to win the Super Bowl, it won't matter. But still, questionable decisions by Tom-Terrific today. Brady knows they had no business winning that game...
  10. As Bears fans, it bothers us that our D has been wasted on inept offense, imagine how Ravens fans must feel. That D has been superb for better part of this decade with not much to show for.
  11. Place kicker position opening in Baltimore...Cundiff u shmuck. New England, you can now take that giant horse shoe outta yer ass.
  12. Great stand by the Ravens D, they need the offensive coordinator to stop calling idiotic plays.
  13. Why the f*** throw when you're having success running it down their throats? INT!!!
  14. I picked the Pats to win but hopefully the Ravens pull the upset...GO RAVENS!
  15. http://m.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/...to-lose/251728/ Mittens will still most likely win the GOP nomination because Newt's organization down the line can't compete with Romney's and his money but Mittens is batting 1 for 3 right now. Huntsman IMO would've been able to challenge Obama but I guess the GOP aren't really serious about winning the GE.
  16. QUOTE (Felix @ Jan 22, 2012 -> 11:36 AM) Only watched highlights of that game, don't tell me Melo jacked up that shot?
  17. QUOTE (Tex @ Jan 22, 2012 -> 10:42 AM) Graduated 85% of his players No recruiting violation, no booster violations, an 80 year old man went to his bosses when there was a problem. I'm not disgusted by the love. He made a huge mistake in not calling the police. I don't see him burning in hell right now. Hey God, what are my chances of going to heaven right now, mind you I never covered up a child abuser so I should be a shoo in, right?
  18. QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Jan 21, 2012 -> 10:05 PM) Carmelo is an incredibly gifted scorer. He's also incredibly overrated. Yes He's entertaining and irritating to watch at the same time.
  19. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Jan 20, 2012 -> 08:50 PM) Only sport of the big four* D'oh. Forgot Hockey... All sports have different skill sets for different positions , big difference between what a Center does to what a PG does as in what a starting pitcher does to what a SS does...even in hockey.
  20. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jan 20, 2012 -> 01:38 PM) Dude, I like you a lot immediately. That's awesome. Yes, SOXOBAMA is an awesome dude even if he's a 49er fan
  21. The 49ers are solid but I think NY is the best balanced team of those remaining... Giants 23 49ers 20 I hope Baltimore can pull the upset but the Pats O will be too much. Patriots 27 Ravens 23
  22. Yeah, meanwhile there is still a team named Redskins...nice.
  23. QUOTE (Harry Chappas @ Jan 20, 2012 -> 09:24 AM) I have never wrestled in my life and have no interest in watching it but from what little I have seen and been told about MMA if you know how to wrestle you can pretty much kick some serious ass. I am not sure how it is not the exact definition of sports as I believe it is the oldest recognized sporting event and it takes smarts, strength and quickness. It's kinda gay looking, maybe because it started in Greece?
  24. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Jan 20, 2012 -> 09:00 AM) Racing is a very physically and mentally demanding sport. They may be athletes but they shouldn't be no where near the GOAT atlhlete's discussion. I drive alot and I'm still fat (not huge, but I need to lose 20 lbs).
