QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Feb 5, 2012 -> 09:39 PM) No. Eli was very good this year but he has been a very average qb throughout his career. I would kill for the Bears to have an avg QB with 2 SB wins under his belt...just saying.

Guess Eli wasn't f***ing around when he said he was an elite QB...talks s*** and backs it up, gotta respect that. I was 9 for 11 in playoffs picks, 6,000 bucks richer and pimping

QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Feb 5, 2012 -> 04:19 PM) Don't enjoy commercials the only time of the year that they're bearable, or else you're a corporate sheep. If I never watch another commercial in my life, I'd be a happy camper...if I want to be entertained, I'll watch a movie or a funny show if I want to laugh...

QUOTE (JPN366 @ Feb 5, 2012 -> 12:28 AM) Am I wrong to want to punch someone in the face when they say they only watch for the commercials? I mean, don't we spend the other 364 days a year avoiding them? I DVR everything so I never have to watch commercials. I pay for satellite radio. Why would one submit themselves to jackass advertising at all? If you want to see people acting like idiots for 30 seconds, go to YouTube. A few years ago, I paused the game for almost an hour so I could fast forward through the commercials, and Springsteen too. I just feel my braincells dying if I pay too much attention to crazy guy with Doritos teases dog to run into window. Is that really worth getting excited about? If you want to see Danica almost naked, she's posed provocatively many times. /rant I hope the Patriots get f***ing destroyed, and Brady gets his knee blown out in the 1st by Pierre-Paul. This I couldn't care less about the commercials, pre gamr hoopla or the s***ty half-time show, just let me watch the damn game and cut all the other crap out...people who care about the ads are corporate sheep. Giants 31 Pats 28

QUOTE (2nd_city_saint787 @ Feb 2, 2012 -> 03:07 PM) I'd love for that free agent ?? to be Rasheed Wallace, there were talks of him wanting to play this season right? Would Przybilla work at PF next to Asik? I've always liked Sheed, even when he was a Piston, I wonder how much is left in the tank, could he give us at least a good 18 minutes per night? He is a loose canon but I like his passion and we could use a 3pt shooting big.

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Feb 1, 2012 -> 06:13 PM) I'm not giving the Bulls credit for that. Half the league was gearing up for the free agent class of 2010. This organization dropped the ball multiple times in regards to KG, Gasol and to a lesser degree Kobe. They severely overrated guys like Hinrich, Gordon and even Deng. The '07 Bulls with Gasol in place of Gordon or Deng get to the finals. I believe the Bulls would not want to part with the package necessary to get Howard, even if it was possible. I agree with J4L, our biggest FA signing has been Boozer and no blockbuster trades to speak of... Even IF Howard is there for the taking, Gar-Pax won't pull the trigger but I wouldn't mind eating crow if they do snag Howard but it ain't happening.

7-Year Old Girl Cut From Baseball Team
QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Jan 31, 2012 -> 10:44 AM) But the coach admits that she's better than her brother, who's still on the team. Maybe it's because I played park district baseball, but I don't remember anyone being cut at those ages. That must suck to be that kid..."hey, your sister is better than you at baseball".

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jan 31, 2012 -> 05:09 PM) And that's dumb. We saw what Kobe did. He called out the entire organization and they got him Gasol, Ariza, Artest (or World Peace. God that's so gay), etc. And two championships later, I'm sure Kobe doesn't regret it one bit. That was a different situation, the Lakers were bad, these Bulls are a legit title contender, whether or not they get it done this year, time will tell but if you go around b****ing and moaning to the press you need more help, you'll get what Howard is getting in Orlando...that team has quit on D12, it's obvious.

QUOTE (thxfrthmmrs @ Jan 31, 2012 -> 12:40 AM) Apparently so, since most of those dunks were from the 90's, it just seems like a very stuck up mindset. There has been plenty of amazing dunks since then. I don't see anything special in that barkley dunk, since he didn't even dunk on anyone. The Kemp and Dr J dunk might have an argument. But I really think the Jordan dunk is more of a historically symbolism dunk (Jordan over Ewing), and a honor for him being the GOAT. Take out the names in that play, and there were quite a few facial dunks like that just from the past decade. But I haven't never seen a more powerful and athletic dunk, ever, like the dunk tonight. Not only did he dunk on Perkins, he took off from a long distance, jumped so high his head was above the rim, and his arm was fully extended, and threw down a thunderous dunk. the contortion of o his legs just made it more aesthetically pleasing. If you don't think this dunk can touch any of those dunk, you need to stop living in another era. The lead up to MJ's dunk is what makes it so amazing, he beats a double team, a double team trap in the corner and serves up a vicious facial to Ewing, he beats 4 different players on that dunk...Griffin's dunk is nowhere that impressive IMO. Ewing>>>>>Perkins

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jan 31, 2012 -> 12:11 AM) Oh I agree. Just saying. They got a big road win against a very good Denver team last night and pretty much obliterated the Thunder tonight. If Paul can stay on the court from this point on, they're the best team, IMO, in that division with upside. Donald Sterling still owns them though, he'll find a way to f*** it up in the long run.

QUOTE (thxfrthmmrs @ Jan 31, 2012 -> 12:02 AM) I think that might be the best in game dunk of all time, even tops the Jordan over Ewing dunk, which is popularly recognized with the honor Great dunk but I've seen better...gotta also take into account who's the dunkee, the best one I've seen the last few years involved K Bryant posterizing D Howard.

I feel good about the Bulls chances vs the Heat come playoffs time...Rose makes his fts or hits that last shot and we all would be singing a different tune. Not saying I'm positive the Bulls will make the Finals but a healthy Bulls can beat the Heat, gotta learn from these tough losses and go from there.

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jan 29, 2012 -> 08:00 PM) No, LeBron made or broke the Cavs. Not the Heat. That's ridiculous. LeBron has one of the better "supporting" casts any superstar has had since the 1960's when there were like 4 teams in the league. I'm talking in terms of getting a title, or did Wade and Bosh step up and lead the Heat to a title last year when LBJ was lost in the 4th qrtr and I just imagined the Mavs winning it?

I bet if Rose would've hit those 2 fts and the Bulls would've held on for the W, we wouldn't be having all this gloom and doom in here.We would be talking about a shorthanded Bulls beating Miami at their house, Finals here we come!! Talk about overreation...

Suicide watch, jeez...I'm not saying based off what happened today that we'll beat Miami in the playoffs but considering how all these games have been close, we are right there with them and you gotta be really pessimistic to believe we have zero shot against them.Me, I'm not throwing up the white flag, f*** Miami.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jan 29, 2012 -> 07:33 PM) Well, forget all this "Wade played like s*** business"... that's the whole point of this Heat team. One guy can blow, but they still have another superstar ready to hit ridiculous shots. Seriously, I just relived last year's ECF. It is what it is... the Bulls can't hang with the Heat. LBJ makes or breaks the Heat, in the end, it falls on him, he creates a match up nightmare because of his size and quickness, if LBJ is off, Bosh nor Wade aren't leading the Heat to a title. We saw what happened when LBJ went missing in the 4th qrtrs of the Finals. We need to figure out a way to get inside LBJ's head, a James Rules perhaps?

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jan 29, 2012 -> 07:16 PM) Meh. Again, I get the whole moral victory spin. The Bulls hung tough against a great team on the road without two key players. Then again, they still manged to lose this game with Wade, outside of a couple of fastbreak dunks, looking as bad as any player of his stature can possibly look (and it wasn't just Hamilton). It goes both ways. Then again, Wade has struggled against the Bulls D going back to last year, he hasn't gone off against Bogans, Brewer, Hamilton on him today.
