SF will beat Seattle next week. Harbaugh and Rivera, two former Bears.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jan 10, 2014 -> 11:47 AM) As opposed to you acting like the hater fat pimple faced girl when ever the Bulls are mentioned? You've jumped on more bandwagons that Kim Kardashian. lol

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Jan 10, 2014 -> 01:26 PM) Pretty much everyone on ESPN picking the Niners this weekend, That has to be extra motivation for the Panthers. Yes because it being their jobs and getting paid a lot if money to do isn't motivation enough, it's all about proving ESPN wrong, dammit!

QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jan 10, 2014 -> 10:02 AM) Is he resigning with the Bears? I really hope so. I love Peanut. I'd love to see him as a safety.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jan 10, 2014 -> 08:39 AM) I'd walk around with an erection for the entirety of a LeBron-Bulls career. Too bad it won't happen. This x infinity

He ain't leaving Miami...not for Chicago at least.
-
If the Cavs weren't idiots and they were able to build a legit team around LeBron and he never left Cleveland, Miami would be just one more EC team nipping at the heals of a James led dynasty. Let's face facts, Riley, Wade, Bosh and James broke NBA rules (collusion) to create a superteam to stack the odds. Seriously, gimme a core of James, Wade and Bosh and even I can build a team around them. J4L, if you're really eager to handjob a franchise, it's San Antonio bro...you know, the team that SHOULD'VE won last year.

QUOTE (bmags @ Jan 6, 2014 -> 01:28 PM) Why is NYDN breaking all of this Bulls stuff? Because it's most likely bulls***.

QUOTE (WilliamTell @ Jan 1, 2014 -> 09:09 PM) I'd probably pass on seeing the female version but I couldn't be certain until I saw a trailer for it and who's actually in it. Give me Angelina Jolie and I'm in! Kate Beckinsale is also good in action movies and hot to boot.

QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Jan 6, 2014 -> 12:10 PM) Clay Matthews, Casey Hayward, Brian Bulaga, Johnny Jolly, Jemichael Finley, Brandon Bostick, Jonathan Franklin, DuJuan Harris. Lot's of good players in that list.

QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Jan 6, 2014 -> 11:08 AM) That was a very close game in which a lot of people basically gave them no shot. They're a dropped INT away from winning that game (because dude was taking it to the house if he comes up with that). and if Alshon makes that catch or if Conte wasn't a turnstile, Bears win...good teams make plays when it counts. GB isn't as good as SF, the Pack are 0-3 against the 49ers, doesn't matter where they play.

QUOTE (bmags @ Jan 6, 2014 -> 11:02 AM) The Packers game reaffirmed to me that it's important to just get in the playoffs. I really wish Bears could have pulled that off. The Packers still went one and done I really doubt we would've fared any better than the Pack with that historically bad D. Missing the playoffs and moving up a few extra slots in the draft may prove to be better in the long run.

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Jan 6, 2014 -> 10:32 AM) Don't sleep on Carolina. They are well rested and can destroy on defense. They won in SF earlier in the year. I'm a Ron Rivera fan, I hope they pull it off and I'll be rooting for them but San Fran is a more balanced team. SF 20 Carolina 16

QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Jan 6, 2014 -> 08:22 AM) Sucks that the Packers lost, but I think they played a pretty good game. They were right there with a great football team. Biggest problem for the Packers is staying healthy. I look at that 49ers team and they have all of their starters playing that they had in week 1. I am very jealous of that. No it doesn't Yeah I'll give the Pack credit, personally I thought Frisco was going to win easily, they are simply the better team. On the injuries point, Bears fans share your sentiment.
-
QUOTE (Spod=Ratings @ Jan 5, 2014 -> 06:55 PM) It's sad Bears fans only postseason excitement is rooting against packers. Seems like a very Cub thing to do... Not like Packer fans were rooting for us in SB XLI... Lame post.

About time refs...
-
QUOTE (chw42 @ Jan 5, 2014 -> 06:03 PM) Wow, how could you not call a holding on that play? It's the only reason Rodgers didn't get sacked. Shhhhhhhh, we're just disgruntled Bears fans. Seriously though and I do hate complaining about the refs but it seems like GB gets away with defensive penalties and obvious holding calls more than any other NFL team.

QUOTE (WilliamTell @ Jan 4, 2014 -> 06:59 PM) I knew damn well this game was over once Smith fumbled even though KC had a 3 touchdown lead. It's just how us Chiefs fans roll. 20 years and counting without a playoff win..... Smith also overthrew a gimme TD that could've almost iced the game.
-
A lot of time left for the Chiefs to get a game winning FG.
-
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jan 4, 2014 -> 03:36 PM) It took less than 1 minute of the broadcast for the announcers to note that the Chiefs have averaged about 29 yards per return on kickoffs and say "the Chiefs Special Teams have been absolutely brilliant". Their ST coach is Dave Toub. And now ours is terrible, coincidence?

QUOTE (DukeNukeEm @ Jan 4, 2014 -> 12:21 AM) I played the little draft game: 1. Khalil Mack OLB Buffalo 2. Kony Ealy DE Missouri 3. Adrian Hubbard OLB Alabama 4. Daquan Jones DT Penn St 5. DeAnthony Thomas RB Oregon 6. Jonathan Dowling S WKU 6. Ross Cockrell CB Duke I had no choice but to keep going pass rush. I can't pass on Mack at 14, I can't pass on Ealy in R2, then its just feeding me studs at positions I already addressed. If this happened I'd be cool with it though. De A Train

QUOTE (Jake @ Jan 2, 2014 -> 02:02 PM) If only Cutler could find the end zone like Favre... Let's be real though, Favre put up some absolute duds in several seasons. His worst seasons were sub-Cutler, but his best seasons got you rings. I always thought Favre had only one SB ring?
-
QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Dec 31, 2013 -> 03:04 PM) The 49ers were just torched by the Falcons and the Cardinals through the air. To think that Aaron Rodgers can't pass against them is silly. I think Green Bay wins. The reason I like SF in this game is Frank Gore and GB's inability to stop the run. I think Gore will have a bigger impact than Rodgers on Sunday.
-
I always thought it was strange that the Green Bay Packers just had a "G" as their logo instead of "GB"...turns out it stands for something else. Seriously though, who cares. I also agree with the poster who said that if it comes out that it's true, more than a few Bears, Lions and Vikings fans will make our fanbases look like a bunch of homophobes.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Dec 30, 2013 -> 02:10 PM) GB is a better team by a lot right now than they were in weeks 13-16, for example. That has to be something of a worry, and it's a homegame for them. Meh, GB's defense is garbage. SF is a balanced team, solid offense and defense. Gore is going to go ham on that D.
