The Dodgers are way too uptight with both their prospects and salary to be dealt with. They seriously wouldn't trade for C.C. Sabathia because they wanted Cleveland to pick up his contract.

I like it, Bailey used to be the #1 pitching prospect in baseball, if the Reds are dumb enough to trade him for a rental, I'd jump all over it.

A GM said that Bobby Abreu would be lucky to get a 9 million $ annual salary, If he'd sign for 2/18, I'd be fine sticking him in LF.

I wonder if this means Brian Anderson is going to get to start? Having that glove in CF would be nice after Swisher&Griffey.

If this is true, I dont think it's fair to judge this trade after we see what Kenny does with Jermaine's money.

I love this, Dye would be gone in a year anyway, and you're giving Coop a guy with some of the best pure stuff in baseball. It's 1 year of Jermaine Dye for 6+ years of Homer Bailey, + 11million to be used on free agents/locking up Danks, Q, Alexei and Floyd.

Unless those annual Konerko-for-Figgins rumors pan out and we move Fields to 1B.
