  1. Hmm.....David price come on down, wish it was a Thor package but with yesterday’s news with the Boston thing that’s the obvious choice
  2. You also just 24 hours prior had reporters like Bruce Levine and Scott Merkin still projecting the whitesox to make a couple moves before the week ended. So this is total posturing. Hopefully today is a big day!
  3. Meant to say outside the Nationals. I still think they can get something down just more posturing for potential trades today. In my opinion they cannot afford to kick the can down the road, next offseason will be one year closer to having to fork out money to keep Moncada and free agency will have less pitching depth making trades even more significant if not done now. If you wait you are only shrinking your window to win. Yes, even if they add significant pieces this offseason they still might not be competitive enough this upcoming season but this rebuild is just about over guys, let’s get back to winning and get the team to understand how to win this season so they get ahead of this learning curve.
  4. In my opinion that could also be the Whitesox trying to bump up some of the value of their prospects to say they are fine waiting on another offseason to try to get a pitcher in a trade. While it’s very frustrating, no other club made any moves yesterday either. Today could be a huge signal for what they will do the rest of these meetings.
  5. Exactly, nothing to read there just click bait, the title alone pisses people off
  6. Wow....what a terrible article
  7. Lol or Machado.....
  8. I’ll admit being swamped at work all day it was definitely a little bit of a letdown nothing has happened yet, I was hoping the Sox would come in with a big splash right out the gates at the winter meetings with all the talks of a couple moves being made by Wednesday I figured one was wrapped up already. Ugh...
  9. I would love some Thor, he would be the plan B if I’m the Sox I just doubt the Mets bite
  10. I believe so. I think Hahn was pretty pissed that was leaked and ultimately pointed to that or at least twitter in general as the reason the deal fell through.
  11. To be fair what’s to gain from throwing names out there? I’m just as anxious as the next person but we saw what happened last offseason when there was info on the Joc Pederson deal out there. We are all whitesox fans but sometimes not knowing at the moment is better than all of their business being out on the street. Keep doing you WSD.
  12. I’d do that deal all day everyday Herrera is a dumpster fire and does anyone really think burger is going to amount to anything at this point with all his set backs
  13. I’d be shocked if he signs for anything less than a 4 year deal
  14. Sign em both, let them figure out who plays right field. DH the other then you can look at trading some prospects for a SP. Fuck it go all in.
  15. Meh, depends on who you can get in my books...
  16. He said before KW.....
  17. Contreras and Sweaty Freddy weren’t good trades?
  18. If you are trading a top notch prospect or multiple ones, Rick better hope that whoever they are acquiring will put them over the top.....admittedly a little nervous and trading a few of these could make or break this rebuild
  19. I think people are seemingly forgetting who Castellanos agent is. I don’t think the Sox want to do business with him.
