QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 08:31 PM) Here is my night before D-Night prediction. 6. LA Clippers: No. Are they even involved in this? 5. New Jersey: No. Not in Brooklyn yet, with an abysmal roster. LBJ has been too close lately to sacrifice the extra $30 million to go there. 4. Miami: No. He's not going to Wade's team to be the 2nd highest paid player. 3. New York: Serious contender. Bright lights, bad roster, lots of $$. 1b. Chicago: Serious contender. If he wants to win, he goes here. It's as simple as that. 1. Cleveland: Home. He'd never live down leaving them. They can offer the most money. Roster would be largely the same as one that keeps losing. I have it as a virtual tie going into the final day with Chicago and Cleveland. The question is, does he think the Jordan shadow matters, does he want to win, and can he rip the hearts out of his home state? BOLD PREDICTION: Bulls acquire a shooting guard some time tomorrow, pushing LBJ to have no choice but to come here and win 3 rings in the next 5 seasons. way to keep the faith! im going into tomorrow with no expectations because i don't want to be let down again when it doesnt go down....i've officially come to peace with us getting boozer and possibly another small piece in FA

QUOTE (SoxFan562004 @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 05:33 PM) that's actually a pretty big piece of news because a lot of people were painting it that the Bulls were out. ugh...i don't wanna get my hopes up again just to be shattered but slowly and surely im getting pulled into the theory of us landing him again

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 05:29 PM) With Boozer, we put up a much better fight in this past playoffs for sure, the team is alot better with him in the fold. not to mention he is in the eastern conference now and doesnt have to get beat up in the West to get to the Finals i think this boozer signing is going to be big for us come playoff time

QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 05:25 PM) The Hinrich move freed up money for Boozer. No regrets. if we already would have bron locked up than i consider it that but since we don't im right now considering it extra dough to offer james a max contract lol
-
NBA Offseason Thread
kinda wish we would have hinrich still now if lebron doesnt come that would make our roster even better

QUOTE (WHarris1 @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 01:27 PM) Well that would be impossible since they can't sign 2 maxes for sure, so maybe they would actually want to have him before they ship off pieces to clear the final cap space.. It's not like locking up Boozer now or Saturday makes any difference i just see them being quiet as a bad thing.....you hear all these reports about miami trying to entice james to come and be the next big 3....but you don't hear anything out of chicago on them calling for another meeting or anything like that....hell the knicks even got a 2nd meeting with his associates....
-
NBA Offseason Thread
the bulls actions pretty much are self explanitory....you would think if the bulls seriously thought lebron might come to chicago they'd have a big man locked up to entice him more to come....but they dont....
-
NBA Offseason Thread
the bulls aren't saying anything because they have NOTHING to say.....we gambled and lost....simple as that
-
NBA Offseason Thread
i was listening to sports radio at lunch time and they were saying that his 1 hr show isn't in cleveland either......
-
NBA Offseason Thread
my thing is we can compete with miami if all they have is bosh/wade.....we still would have rose/boozer (im assuming we'll land him pleasssse) to counter that and also have noah and deng......thats far better than what miami has right now......if lebron signs with them thats a different story
