  1. I still think something is wrong with his vision and he just cannot see the baseball whether that is out of his pitchers own hand or at the plate
  2. Timmy would have tried to fire that to 1B instead of taking the out at 3B
  3. This team could use a jolt of Oscar Colas so badly right now it’s not even funny
  4. Franchise in Desperation….featuring your 2022 Chicago White Sox
  5. Thought that a week ago when he was swinging with one arm in extra innings….should have sent him to the IL then to get him right, but we decide to White Sox this year so yea…
  6. The replay clearly shows Yoan taking his eye off the play and making a swipe tag. Yes it doesn’t help you have a 1B out in RF with a noodle arm but Yoan could have prevented that ball from passing him easily
  7. Thats the Grandal way. I think he can only catch those
  8. That wasn’t on Sheets there. Yoan took his eye off the ball to try and make the tag
  9. Keep him on the team for his defense!
  10. How about that defense by Yoan….
  11. Eloy has an elite bat when healthy. If all you are looking for from Yoan is defense that’s not going to cut it, it’s a natural offensive position. If you are a competent GM you can always find a serviceable 3B making much less than Yoan with no bat.
  12. Exactly. I agree, that’s why I think a roster shake up is needed regardless of the outcome this year. You have to somehow shake things up. They cannot go into 2023 with this same roster construction and have Robert, Eloy, Yoan, and Tim every other week getting hurt or underperforming constantly
  13. However you want to call it, argument or disagreement on whether he’s great or just been good. Doesn’t matter. He has not even scratched the surface of his potential if you ask me. Whether that is due to injury or letting the hype of greatness being called the Cuban Mike Trout or whatever they designated him go to his head. The latter goes right along the rest of the teams cockiness about how good they are by crowning themselves the best team in the league before ever accomplishing anything. Either way something needs to change one way or another this off season to fix this Titanic of an organization.
  14. You know what is sad is we are all arguing over whether Robert has been good or not but I would definitely say he has not played to his expectations or what he’s capable of but that also goes for Eloy, Tim, Yoan, and Grandal and here they are only 2 games out of 1st place in this division. It just goes to show you how much better they can be than the rest of this division
  15. Sad thing is if I didn’t know you were talking about Robert I could apply this to about half the normal starting lineup
  16. Has he watched any Whitesox baseball the past year and 1/2? This makes zero sense. No one wants him back, especially not the fans
  17. Maybe that will teach him not to swing at everything….so much talent he’s wasting. It’s a damn shame
  18. I’d hope they would say Tony just take the rest of the season to rest up and we will readdress this come the off-season, then they stash him in a corner somewhere
  19. The real question should be can he and Leury switch contracts at this point
  20. I think in game he can be a little more discrete on how he calls him out as to where on the radio he holds completely back
