What you are running into is a poorly executed offseason did not hit the reset button on this franchise and didn’t take the distaste of last season out of the fans mouths. So when TA basically throws shade on everyones reaction to last year this is 1000 percent warranted. Ownership and GM have brought this upon themselves and fans have every right to be skeptical if you’ve watched idk any White Sox baseball over the last decade or so. Most fans don’t want to hear it

Difference between the owner doing it privately and the team captain doing it in a public setting like he did with a guy who carries more water for this franchise than anyone else not named Scott Merkin

He’s terrible in the booth. I just hope they don’t give him the gig full time when Jason walks away

Tired of the who are you to criticize this team attitude / mentality from the organization, players, GM, old coaching staff etc throughout the years. Tim telling Chuck that there might be certain players who close themselves off to him because of his criticism…. that is coming from your so called leader of the clubhouse or the straw that stirs the drink as they say…..that has soft written all over it. What Lawrence Holmes said on 670 wasn’t wrong.

Been ready for a change and was hoping they’d deal him this off-season when the last SS signed. He’s a good player with a crap attitude and it was clear as day last year. Feel bad for Chuck because he’s just trying to do his job and has never called out TA personally if I can remember correctly. For as much water carrying as Chuck gets called out for I don’t get it

Looks like they are giving him some play at 1B as well

Alonso to the television booth to replace Benetti is imminent.

Not exactly a ringing endorsement for Leury

Leury gone? Hmmm

Desperate for ticket sales is my guess…but you know what could solve that….actually opening up the check book on a real superstar

Veteran presence, can glove it better than any infielder on the roster other than Moncada. Insurance for not it but when Tim gets hurt. His bat will not make or break this team, Moncada, Eloy, Tim, Grandal and Robert will decide that. This makes Leury even more of a bench player, solid deal

Am I the only one who finds it funny that the Marquee and the Cubs will broadcast half the number of Whitesox games than their own network NBCSCH lol

About time

Yep at least stone gave us one date

The return of Steve Stone

Staying in Tempe. Hmm never thought about walking the back fields. Appreciate the tips.

Trying to get excited for baseball but man it’s tough….I will be down in AZ March 9th-13th. What we some places to go visit down there besides going to the games?

I’m still going to root for the things you mentioned above but at the same time there have been far worse Sox teams that have been more like able than this group. Attitude and effort can go far in my opinion. Half of last year there was too many people that looked disinterested being on the field. Of course they will be more likeable if they play well.

Problem is the crap owner did not fire the GM which led to him essentially trotting out the same unlikeable group of players from 2022, so it’s very difficult to shake 2022 and find any reason to back this group as is.

No broadcast schedule. I looked yesterday morning actually and was going to post on here about it but then didn’t have enough energy in me to get pissed off enough yet about them. Just another big FU to the fans. The Reinsdorfs have to be doing things like this in spite of the fans

Must have missed it with all the excitement surrounding the team

Surprised no post about this amazing signing?!?

Yeah I’ll be down there the 9-13th of March. Only have the plane ticket and hotel reservations made, still deciding on whether I want to subject myself to the pain of White Sox Baseball this early on. Although that was my initial plan, just have had a tough time getting excited for this group

Not to deflect from the situation and don’t really know where to put this but I thought I read somewhere the Yanks have 6 SP? Maybe they can get a Frankie Montas off of them somehow…
