There's a twitter thread Jimmy is a part of discussing this. He posits that the White Sox need to maximize returns, and teams are very reluctant moving position prospects in today's landscape. So if teams are more willing to trade top end pitching versus top end position players, that's what they will take back.

BA article today with some observations on the 2024 class. There was a section on the lack of up the middle talent. Pulled this out. I was already pretty into Wetherholt, but if the consensus is that he's able to hack it at SS I'm very in. Though @Y2Jimmy0 mentioned the Sox view him as a 2B. At least the starting pitching has been fun/interesting to watch. I will keep tuning in for Crochet, Thorpe, and Cannon. Kind of a shame Nastrini has become a mess.
