Read basically all his scouting reports. He has a great slider. Freddy relies more on location now that he has lost velocity on his pitches. I'm not sure how you can say he has better stuff than Hudson just because you haven't seen Hudson pitch.

Doesn't seem like you know much about Hudson. His slider is above average and is what he uses to get people out. At this point, I would say he has better stuff that Freddy. His fastball hit 95 on the gun when he pitched. Freddy rarely clocks into the 90's. I think you are underrating him. His numbers in the minors were disgusting and he outmatched most of the top pitching prospects that he faced.

No it isn't. He threw over 160 innings last year. What makes you think he couldnt throw 180 this year and even more the next?

Who do you think ends up as the 5th starter next year? Garcia has been pitching really well lately. Hudson is a pretty special pitcher who may be ready already. Torres has proven that he can handle the 5th spot. Hynick is completely outmatching everybody in AAA and may be better than Torres. I would really like Hudson to start so I can see his stuff, but I think Hynick may be more ready for the spot. Hudson is going to be special in the future, but he is still only 22. Most scouting reports on Hynick say that he has the balls of Freddy Garcia and will be a starter in the majors. I doubt Freddy will be as good as is he now, so I'm not sure about him. Torres may be able to fill in the Carrasco type role. Torres is probably a decent trade chip after his AAA numbers and his last start. Who would you want starting and what would you do with those who don't start?

Yeah, i'm pretty excited about rush. They have a rule here where frats can't invite freshman boys to parties before rush week and sororities cant invite freshman girls to parties before rush week. They get a huge fine if they are caught doing it. So basically there were no parties for us since sororities don't throw many. The first night here was the only night the sororities threw parties for us. It was so much fun. A triple kegger and girls walking around serving beer, shots, and jello shots to everybody. it was like something youd see in the movies. Hopefully rush week lives up to that.
