At least they're giving you instant replay showing that this one is bull. The facemask they quickly showed it before cutting away.

Getz won the Vaughn/ Civale trade
I do love that everyone agrees that we should not have kept Vaughn, but there are two distinct camps forming: 1) Should not have kept him because he was not going to flourish with this organization, let alone turn into a key bat for an LCS team that helped bury their rival in the regular and postseason. 2) No we shouldn't have kept him because he sucked, still sucks, will always suck, this is just an aberration and Tyler Osik was correct.

Insane person idea that could never happen in reality but would be funny: Trade for Fields and put him at running back.

Getz 2025 Grade: your vote matters.
People do realize that getting a D is grading on a curve right? It's cause they improved from "worst team of all time" to "maybe we won't contract them."

Getz 2025 Grade: your vote matters.
Ok, Rookie Luis Robert. Also, let's not forget that Eloy's downfall began with a hustle play. A dumb hustle play, but a hustle play nonetheless. Dudes get figured out. Let's hope the new crop don't.

This is perfectly said. Eloy mashed as a rookie. Let's see where things go before declaring the current crop of young guys a surefire thing.

Me being a Mizzou homer, I'll justify taking Burden as BPA even though he's getting underused because he's currently WR4. But there were so many opportunities to take an EDGE, LT or RB and Poles just decided nah.

That was launched. Damn.

Briefly thought Fletcher was getting applause for a double and thought the Nats fans were vicious. But that was cool for Taylor.

Michael Taylor retiring today
It's cool that it happens where it started for him. Probably makes it more emotional.

Being bad doesn't = Rebuilding
Let's think of it this way / why there's less hope for this vs. past rebuilds for teams. 1) Won't rehash the Hagen Smith vs. position players debate, but it does not inspire confidence. He did pick it up at the end, which helps ease the mind a bit. 2) This headline from BA is great: Scouting Roch Cholowsky: Most Complete College SS In A Decade? The Sox only have a 27% chance of getting him. The Twins have a 17% chance. Obviously the MLB #1 pick isn't as monumental as the NBA or NFL, but when you consider the bonus pool, it'll really suck if they miss the #1.

Fire Chris Getz
Chris in 4 years after not making the playoffs: "It was a hard decision, but we had to trade Colson to the Yankees to strengthen our future. Based on the returns we got from him and Schultz, I'm confident we'll make the playoffs by 2032."

Fire Chris Getz
But how many of those people got GM roles without doing job interviews? It just shows how superior his vision is. Checkmate.
