Here's how much I loved Maggs when I was 12. When he signed away, I renounced the White Sox and said I would root for Maggs. Until I realized he had turned down their offer, not the Sox not wanting him, in which case, I quickly despised Maggs. Only recently have I rediscovered my not-Hate of Maggs.

A quick thought after tonights game. Gibson is quickly developing into another Noah (rebounding machine with decent scoring) in 1/3 the time, but with less energy. The Bulls could have a 3-Headed Monster Front Court monster if they sign Bosh this offseason.

I love how Rose can now just score at will. Also, Noah with the slam just looked awesome.

Good first half by the Bulls. If they win, and the Bobcats start losing, that could be an epic (EPIC) play in game in Charlotte at the end of the season.

Raptors beat the 76ers...Bulls 2 games back. Bulls gotta win out from here, and that game in Toronto could be huge, hopefully with a team that's fully healthy, they can push into the playoffs.

The more likely case is that you'd be creating the Montreal Expos. Portland's a pleasant enough city to live in if you can find a job (I enjoyed it there), but no way is it an MLB town. I know there are delusional Portlanders who think otherwise and advocate for an expansion team, but they all have one thing in common: none of them has the money to put at risk in owning a team. Portland is my second choice for an AL West because when I went there, it felt like a laid back, college-esque town. The first choice is Las Vegas. Sure, there is that gambling issue, but it can be resolved. New Orleans or Memphis would be my AL South choice.

I'm sorry for your loss Matt, and I'm glad the White Sox showed class and helped you rebuild something you lost. Speaking of good Sox PR, that reminded me of how when my brother was in High school, the school band was allowed to play on the field during a 7th inning stretch. Since this was in the early 2000's, some games were quite empty, and using paper they taped to seats "GO SOX" was in left field in big letters.
