  1. Choke runs deep in this organization. This was probably their only chance for the post season. I can't see it happening next year. Please no more leadership from those who were from the Cub's organization.
  2. Not a whole lot of positive in this organization this year other than some individuals.
  3. I've followed them enough for 2 weeks to disagree. It was Covey - 90 pitches, I aint buyin it.
  4. Follows the typical White Sox fashion, choking on a bad team with playoff hopes.
  5. I want to see Yermin. I'll bet they'll bring up the cast of the mental midget pitchers.
  6. Mental midgets. Clutch never exists in this organization.
  7. LOL! Never get anyone to manage that has ever been involved in the Cub's organization.
  8. Wow they pissed away another opportunity.
  9. Manager has a lot to do with it by pulling starters early. It confirms my theory that this organization is full of mental weakness. They pissed away a 4 game lead.
  10. Too many mental midgets in the Charlotte pen.
  11. I have little confidence in that lead.
  12. Imagine if he were in a NL farm system. Turn him into a pitcher that could hit HRs.
  13. Who could forget Kittle and Luzinski's roof shots? No cheap homes in that park.
  14. I think these things are created by agents to justify getting a below average player decent money. I don't think you can copy and paste stats when switching leagues. A NL pitcher throws to 8 legit hitters while an AL pitcher throws to 9 and the guy batting in his spot is often one of the best hitters on the team as long as they are not managed by Renteria. I do think there is some caution when our eyes look at paper and not look what goes on in the field.
  15. Charlotte is playing the last place team and Durham is playing the 1st place team.
  16. Somehow they put those on a scoreboard and whatever team has the most RBIs in a game wins. They haven't done that for WAR yet.
  17. I think agents create these stats.
  18. I'd love to see what the exit velocity was when Jim Rice lined one in the first row of the CF bleachers at old Comiskey. Then CF marking was 475 ft. It was ruled a double. Only later the camera revealed it would have been a homer but that's how hard he hit it.
  19. Do today's stats prove there is an advantage of R vs L anymore?
  20. Maybe they are just really bad. It's a shame that someone in the pen not named Bummer would rise to the occasion and go into mental midget mode when the starter gives up 6 runs.
