I'm not going overreact. It is only May. Yet is seems long ago this team was at .500.

Now they are finding wats to win and doing it late. Last was watching 3 innings and doing something else. One game below and hopefully they wont do the momentum killing lineup tomorrow.

At what point do we start to believe?
Trade deadlines are often supplements for teams in the post season hunt. Returns aren't what they use to be. Kicking the can down the road seems a habit for many Sox fans. Trade just to make trades at the deadline isn't wise. I'm sure Getz could find more Acunas out there. I prefer the Sox to do nothing. Trying to dump Benintendi seems more potential for worse. It would be another Robert type trade.

Sox at LAA of Anaheim at 3:07 CDT 5/6 Schultz day
Reminds me of the 78 Sox......1 game under then they fell apart The difference is this is early in the season. Yesterday's lineup should've been today's.
- 5/5 - Sox @ Angels - Fedde v. Aldegheri
- 5/4 Sox at Angels - 8:38 pm - Martin v. Soriano

5/3 Sox @ Padres - 3:10PM CT
the forfeit lineup I really wanted them to go 6 in a row, then 7....8....

Sure it looks bad now but the Sox are not exactly giants in prospect humping

Right in what way? Robert's immediate failure? They only thing good about it was finding someone to risk all of that $20M. The season is also far from over. Fans get carried away when in reality it was a salary dump. The not right part is getting a young player with no options and playing him.

It's a long season. Team health plays a part. That always worries us. Let's see how they stack up with consistent better teams. We are giddy if they win 3 in a row but it would be great to see them win like 9 in a row. Even the bad teams have that luck.

Fans overrate their players. There was always hype. It was one of the few times the Sox drafted someone that young. He's not one of the best but maybe Sox best for now. He's not Mike Trout or Witt Jr yet. The organization made the move of promoting him without deserving it. That turned out to be one of the best moves. He can also field when he is not hitting the baseball. What about the scouts who discovered players in the late rounds? Not sure what the Cubs has to do with this. Just be glad we no longer have the KW era where college players who played more than one sport and their weakness catching a baseball.

POSTGAME: Just a lil home sweep of the Angels
It seems like there are a lot more teams not playing well at all. Some of them there were high expectations.

LUIS ROBERT TRADED

Munemania: Murakami and Judge pacing each other
They do what habitual losing teams do. Not much can really be debated. Ishbia might look and see this needs to be tore down completely. Definitely need a new GM and replace scouts. I hope he's doing his homework.
