I got involved in a discussion during the Fall League on which owner was the worst in baseball. A's or Sox. Hard to imagine that so many HoF players started out in the organization. I'm not sure we can even come close to their misery.

That's what poor organizations do. Short spurts of success. Sure people can talk about the big spending teams but many of their better players were home grown. They don't fall apart due to injuries. Too many bad owners in this game, way too many. Winning is a habit and so is losing. I doubt this team will ever have sustained success in my lifetime. A change in ownership probably doesn't keep Getz. People don't get promoted despite being inadequate in the previous job in the world of sports. This is the White Sox............so surreal.

I wonder how long tis thread will go. The average fan is clueless about baseball operations and only looks to wins and losses. If there is an outside replacement please avoid people from habitual losing organizations. They've got plenty inside the organization.
