it's called the never ending cheap ass way of habitual losing.......reserved for baseball
you can get away with it with great scouting and development and have great seasons but flat post seasons and be like the Brewers or not so long ago Rays......they are just superior farm systems for large markets as well
No. Tucker seems to have health issues and they would only get worse here.
Let's continue to ignore that no big free agent would ever consider coming here.
He's not even a close 2nd to Robert in CF.
Walking Robert is also like giving up a double.
With Getz into slap hitters team speed doesn't seem to be a priority either. Baserunning will be neglected forever in this organization.
OT: and some still refuse to believe Tony is in an advisory role.
All Fall League pitchers have control issues. So many have a 2-0 count. Some are probably experimenting with pitches,
they don't have a CF to replace him. The trade frenzy people hope he can be moved at the deadline despite 2027 in ? and we can have another Meade or some other non prospect that isn't much different then letting him walk unless you are into AA filler.
I wonder if I'll live to see that. Somewhere they need to get better without trading elite and do it on their own. I don't think pattern is gonna stop.
yet we put so much faith in that, it's what fans of habitual losing teams do, the media and bloggers do the same. Bad habits are hard to break. We equate the draft like it's the NFL or NBA, Baseball has a much larger margin for error.
