I don't know what competitive means these days. Under Reinsdorf that means never 1st place and no October. This is not a predictable sport. Remember Hahn's wait for the parade? Look what happen to the previous core. No one saw that coming. It would be great to have a farm system with players who are good enough to play for other teams but are still there (Dodgers) or the Brewers that have this revolving door.
