  1. Often bullshit or attention grabbing brought to you by Twitter. Maybe the scout was looking at the other team.
  2. I'm seeing a more young inexperience team that is at least a year away. I'd say that shot is quite long.
  3. The media claims that is not the case.
  4. Hopes that they immediately adjust to AL pitching.
  5. At least Zavala doesn't disappoint at the plate. He hits under .200 in the majors and AAA. No lightning in the bottle there.
  6. I've never understood why people think an NL player is immediately going to adjust to AL pitching. Before he got hurt he was doing quite well at the plate. He still hasn't faced a lot of AL pitchers yet.
  7. It wasn't last season. I still think they should have kept McCann because he did well on this team. But you eventually had to see what you have in Collins. Maybe he will get better.
  8. I'd be afraid to throw big money on Rodon based on one season.
  9. It's because of this organization I've loathed the DH. NL baseball is a much better game to watch.
  10. I would not consider is automatic. Imagine if 2 of the starting pitchers go down.
  11. I wonder how many players would have slid with the plate being blocked? Both Moncada and the ump were fooled. Brings more fuel to the Moncada hate. I believe fans never want to lose that. Sox have always been bad at base running.
  12. Did you ever think Brave fans ever felt that way with all of those playoff runs? How about Bills fans with 4 Super Bowl losses? Losing has different definitions.
  13. It was also a far more polished team. They could beat you with small ball or the long one.
  14. Somehow there is always this belief they can out hit their mistakes. We see a lack of fundamentals, ignorant base running, poor defense and this goes deep into drafting and development. Plus this is a very young team and with more experience you won't see some of the mistakes. Unfortunately with the home run craze the art of getting on base is lost. With injuries fewer players are willing to steal a base.
  15. Rumor has it Goose Island beer doesn't taste like it use to. We rarely see it out here. It's been years since I had one.
  16. That is the job of ESPN.
  17. In many organizations you also need to catch a baseball. He would have never made it in a NL farm system.
  18. Asking athletes not to play like athletes never happens. Players don't seem to get hurt in Charlotte or even the ones brought up.
  19. I would have too if there were men on base,
  20. I had to watch Chris Sale's rehab start. He looks pretty good, throwing in the high 90's. Always a fan of Sale.
  21. It's the typical White Sox base running.
  22. Waitin for the day for hitters to show the shift is a bad idea.
  23. Garr was considered as one of the best bad ball hitters in baseball.
  24. Even he is not a lock, Nice to see them not throwing so many pitches,
  25. 3 runs is not enough with this pen.
