He's had one season as a true front-end starter, let's let him have another before we pay him like it's a foregone conclusion that he will. He isn't going to give us a discount to dodge free agency, which means we're going to pay him free agency money, which means we might as well wait and see.

I think most people think the Rodon thread is most interesting, but to me, it's catcher. I would love for the Sox to at least be considering the idea that two catchers could play Flowers off of the 25 man roster. None of these, obviously, are sure things, but Soto/Kottaras could be noticeably better than Flowers/anyone else if the aforementioned are actually healthy.

I could have sworn I was right and that I knew it because I took the time to watch every day. So that's how far "it's obvious from watching the game" goes.

I'd have gone insane without those extremely long podcasts. It's really a shame when people are taken from us so young. It seems to only happen to the best of them.
