  1. Imagine if both Noah and Scal were doing the pistol dance in the GIF, the level of epicness would be off the chart
  2. I would like to hear the fallout of Rose's knee injury after tonight. He was in serious pain after the collision, he did play the rest of the game, but I didn't really see any explosion from him tonight. I hope this isn't a lingering injury where he can play immediately after, but forces him to miss time in the future.
  3. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Feb 29, 2012 -> 01:33 PM) Every night? Well damn. I guess I'm less of a fan. When did this start? I went to a Raptors/Bulls game last April and they scored well over 100 points and I didn't get s***. Unless I was too drunk and just walked out without getting my coupon. I don't pay any attention at all to Bulls' promotions. And I know for certain that they have to win AND score 100 when they do this. Yawn@ the grass is greener crap. I'm just objective. And enough with the Knicks. Jesus f***ing Christ. How many times do I have to say that I was WRONGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG to think the Knicks were on par (never said they were better) than the Bulls. I said this like 6 weeks ago. This you are right.
  4. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Feb 29, 2012 -> 01:04 PM) Let's see. I didn't watch the game (shame on me for missing the juggernaut Hornets) and I'm still supposed to know that last night was free Big Mac night? I'll concede that I was slow and should've put two and two together, as Big Macs was referenced by Steve prior to Duke's post, but I didn't. OH THE f*** WELL. And get out of here with me being less of a Bulls fan. No, I don't want to orgasm every time Derrick Rose's humility is brought up. No, I don't pretend that Carlos Boozer at $15 million a year having to come out of close games for defensive purposes is ok. No, I'm not going to make Luol Deng more than he is (a very good roleplayer and more of a third option on a championship contending team, or the fact that I'd personally escort his ass to midway if it meant Dwight Howard coming back) because he's a Bull. No, I'm not going to pretend that the Bulls are on par with the Heat and Thunder talent wise just because, um, just because. The Bulls are a very good team with more than a legitimate chance at winning it all. Do I think they can beat the Heat and Thunder 8 combined times in May/June? Nope. Doesn't mean I won't hope for it. Exactly my point. Free big mac night is every night in which the Bulls scores over 100 points. I thought an average Bulls fans who goes to the game or watches the game would know about it. But you are the ultimate case of the grass is always greener on the other side. Maybe I do not read every single post on here, but I almost never hear any optimism from you about the Bulls. Oh yea, the Knicks will be as good as the Bulls right? And we all know the Heat is a better team than the Bulls on paper, but we believe the team can hang with Heat given a certain condition. Your attitude of there is no way in hell the Bulls could beat the Heat is not a typical attitude of a loyal fan.
  5. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Feb 29, 2012 -> 11:27 AM) I see. Didn't watch the game and had no clue about any free Big Macs. And I know the Bulls have been involved with opening fitness centers and attempting to get fat kids off the video games and internet and into the gym. So yeah, that one totally flew over my head. This, and your constant jabs at the team makes me question how much you follow the team, and how loyal of a a fan you are.
  6. No, that's not D Rose. That's a dancer by the name of Kemo. He's from Chicago as well.
  7. Rose is like the Tim Duncan or David Robinson of PG. He certainly has great athleticism for highlight reel plays, but he is not the showboat flashy players like Westbrook or Wade
  8. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Feb 26, 2012 -> 03:22 PM) Somebody in that group just doesn't belong. Bosh. Put Dwight at center and it will be the best man defensive team in recent all star memories
  9. With the shortage of big men on the East roster, I wonder if Thibs would put a all Bulls Heat roster out there Rose Wade Deng Lebron Bosh It would be a hell of a lineup to watch.
  10. It's crazy to think that as long as Lin is starting for the Knicks next season, he might be voted as a starter in the ASG over Rose or Wade
  11. QUOTE (sunofgold @ Feb 14, 2012 -> 09:33 PM) I don't know. Lillibridge did look decent in the OF last year, especially some nice catches in Yankees Stadium to help us win a game there. However, he also looked pretty good as first. Lillibridge's role might be defined by whether Escobar or Johnson makes the team. Dunn is going to play some OF, I am not sure about first base. I think that I could live with Lillibridge playing some 2B. Obviously he isn't as good as Beckham defensively there. Not sure about Lillibridge at SS or 3B however. Fukudome definitely is a better OF than Lillibridge. He also bats left-handed which Lillibridge doesn't. Fukudome has a higher OBP while Lillibridge has showed a lot of power. Fuku can play CF however I think that he is better as a corner OF. No freaking way, bro.
  12. So now that we have a lefty bat off the bench, please, PLEASE keep Dan Johnson off the big league roster. The guy hasn't performed like a major leaguer in the past three season. And having him might cost a spot for a reliever or even Lillibomb. Our starting lineup might not be good, but a bench of Kosuke, Lillibridge, Flowers and Ozzie Martinez provides great flexibility and good offense off the bench
  13. Most Asian Americans love sushi. I mean who doesn't? It seems Mayweather has a thing up his ass about Asians as he continues to call them out. So for Lin, it has been, what, six games now? Are we still talking about sample size? And apparently he's pretty clutch as well. This kid's got talent.
  14. QUOTE (Felix @ Feb 11, 2012 -> 12:37 AM) So wait, just because I've said that Derrick Rose is inefficient and overrated by this forum (he's been better with his efficiency this season, for the record), I'm not allowed to enjoy the play of any inefficient player? Rubio is having a very good rookie year as a pass first point guard on a team surrounded with very poor jump shooters (30.6% on jumpers from 10-15 this season, 27th in the league). I'd also say that there's a difference in the importance of efficiency in players that are primarily scorers as opposed to being a pass-first, but I imagine that argument would be a waste of time. What does this have ANYTHING to do with Jeremy Lin? My argument about Lin is sample size, not efficiency. Dude didn't you compare Rubio to Kidd after 10 games or so? Talk about sample size huh? No one rained on you for your Timberwolves parade, so why s*** over people for having a Lin parade? Realistically, no one in here is expecting Lin to be a superstar point guard, but in a D'Antoni system, Lin being a top 10 pg in the league is NOT OUT OF THE QUESTION.
  15. f***ing Deng played 41 minutes tonight in a blowout. Give Brewer and Butler some more burn Thib

Though he's played four season, so the correct statement is he's on track to be one of the best shooters of all time.
  17. QUOTE (Felix @ Feb 3, 2012 -> 09:47 PM) http://www.basketball-reference.com/leader...pct_career.html (obviously a lot of big men will be up there, but take note of the Reggie Miller's of the world) That's irrelevant. TS% takes account of FTA vs FGA too. Not just the mades. And you have no idea whether the players takes a lot of shots at the rim or take long jump shots.
  18. I believe Lob City is expecting plenty of dunks this year and therefore they amplified the speakers around the rims for louder sound effects. There is no way this dunk by Durant would be this loud.
  19. QUOTE (Jenksy Cat @ Jan 31, 2012 -> 11:57 AM) Ewing is a large man who jumped to contest a dunk. Perkins is a large man who jumped to contest a dunk. 0 difference/skill involved there Like I point out earlier, the Jordan over Ewing dunk was more about the names and historical symbolism more so than the dunk itself. It was a great dunk because he dunked on Ewing, not so no name scrub. Let's say if JR Smith does the same dunk over Perkins, it wouldn't be remembered after a few years. In my opinion, the best dunks should a dunk that would be recognized and remembered even though it was done by some no name players, not because it's a signature moment for certain players. Even if it was Javale McGee who did the dunk on Perkins last night, it will be remembered as one of the nastiest dunks ever. The Baron Davis on Kirilenko dunk five years ago was one of the nastiest little man in game dunk ever, yet people seemed to have forgotten about it because guys like him fades over time.
  20. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Jan 31, 2012 -> 12:22 AM) I disagree. I'll take: Barkley coast-to-coast Kemp over Liston Nique backwards two handed slam Pippen over Ewing Jordan over Ewing Dr. J rock the baby. And especially VC over Weis or Alonzo. No dunks will ever touch those. Apparently so, since most of those dunks were from the 90's, it just seems like a very stuck up mindset. There has been plenty of amazing dunks since then. I don't see anything special in that barkley dunk, since he didn't even dunk on anyone. The Kemp and Dr J dunk might have an argument. But I really think the Jordan dunk is more of a historically symbolism dunk (Jordan over Ewing), and a honor for him being the GOAT. Take out the names in that play, and there were quite a few facial dunks like that just from the past decade. But I haven't never seen a more powerful and athletic dunk, ever, like the dunk tonight. Not only did he dunk on Perkins, he took off from a long distance, jumped so high his head was above the rim, and his arm was fully extended, and threw down a thunderous dunk. the contortion of o his legs just made it more aesthetically pleasing. If you don't think this dunk can touch any of those dunk, you need to stop living in another era.
  21. I think that might be the best in game dunk of all time, even tops the Jordan over Ewing dunk, which is popularly recognized with the honor
  22. I just noticed that the league play is a lot worse this year. You got the ugly fest in the Philly vs Magic game. You got D Rose putting up 1 point higher in PER for playing arguably worse than last year statistic wise. And you got Lebron putting up a historical PER by basically putting up the same numbers he did in his last year in Cleveland. P.S. If Lebron keeps playing like this, he would beat Jordan for the best PER ever in a season. I certainly don't want that to happen.
  23. Did Rose really said to the reporters in the locker room "I miss those two motherf***ers"?
  24. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jan 29, 2012 -> 04:51 PM) MVP, right? That's what the greats do. Not when he's a 6'3 PG playing with a turf toe in a shorten season, that type of playing style is just not smart and unnecessary every game.
  25. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jan 29, 2012 -> 04:45 PM) Now if Rose goes back into 5+ 3-point mode after this game I'm going to be pissed. I am always against Rose taking massive amount of 3s a game. But if you want Rose to keep playing with this intensity, the heavy minutes, and the amount of contacts he takes every game, that's crazy.
