It’s obvious this team is missing Eloy and Robert.

You bring in your closer in the 9th! No ifs, ands or buts about it. No matter what the score is. We paid him so much money to face one batter? No we paid him to come in and shut the door down no matter what the situation is. Period. No excuses! TLR is totally mismanaging the bullpen. He needs to wake up and change things or else he will only be the manager of the Sox for one season or less.

Hopefully TLR just decides he can’t handle it anymore and just resigns.

TLR is not the right manager for this team. He doesn’t relate well with the players and has mismanaged the bullpen so far. Hendricks needs to pitch more. His confidence is shot right now.

Yeah I agree. It’s a day old and in the past now. Nothing that we can do about it anymore. Time to move on and celebrate that we have a 1st place team!!!

I have to tell you, this team has faced a lot of adversity this season so far but they have been fighting through it. This team is very fun to watch! It’s nice to see this!

I admit, I’m guilty of this as well. He hasn’t been awful but there are a couple games where he blew it but I think that’s pretty typical of every closer now and than. He still has electric stuff.

I would rather have Gio pitch the 9th but your right we paid Hendricks for moments like this. I’m just not very confident right now that he will get the job done.

I would have Gio pitch the 9th as well. Let him finish it off and give the bullpen the day off.

We would’ve had Jimenez in this spot right now but no we have Jake Lamb or Billy Hamilton instead. ?

The injuries have really messed up the makeup of this team.

All TLR had to do is say no comment, we will be dealing with this internally. That’s it, but he now has made this publicly and is digging a deeper hole.

There’s nothing the FO can do about it because JR would step in and defend TLR.

I can only imagine what Rick Renteria is thinking right now. He’s probably sitting back and enjoying this fiasco.

Just a gut feeling from reading all these comments from TLR about not backing his own player, etc. Just something telling me there is something wrong going on behind the scenes. I hope I’m wrong though.

It sounds to me that there may be some friction going on between the front office and TLR. However, there is nothing they can do about it because of JR.

We may need to add another arm to the bullpen.
