Can't believe this actually happened, with all the social media smoke yesterday and phantom tweets and Katy perry a booty hole it's like you can't make this stuff up. It was good scooping between Cease being scratched and Jimenez sitting yesterday and lines up with Hahns time line.

Sorry late to the party been working all day, so what did these tweet say. And the DanB guys Twitter says no pros are included so that means no Happ or Schwarber if he's legit. So probably Cease, Jimenez, Cadlareo, and who? And this is not a great package IMO Jimenez is definitely not the main piece I'd want out of those talked about. Just interested in hearing what led to this Cubs hype?

Honestly who knows at this point. But the Sox have been awfully quiet the past few days and that typically is a good thing when it comes to the Sox and acquisitions. It's would be a gut punch to lose out on him especially if it's because of $. I still think Hahn and company have circled this on the to-do list and have and will continue to do what they can to land this kid. He doesn't technically have to sign for another week or so, let's just relax and hope we finally end up in top with one of these things.

If it makes anyone feel better Abreu started slow in my MLB The Show the last two years after 3 weeks too but he's hitting at a MVP clip these days.

It will take someone to come off their ask or someone to up the ante or this thing is going to drag out until someone is desperate. And again good for Hahn for sticking to a plan and his perceived value for his players.
