  1. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Jul 20, 2011 -> 07:21 PM) http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/news;_ylt=AvUE...quitting_072011 Another interesting Dunn article. oh please. he's not gonna quit. i like how there's just no explanation for dunn's struggles. he just keeps expecting things to turn around. "For two months, be the best player in the league. And if I can do that, we’re going to win a lot of games." I think tonight was the 98th game of the season. Time is almost up on Adam Dunn. Pretty epic stretch of games we have coming up. Hope he starts hitting FINALLY. If not just pin this season on him.
  2. the call on the November 9 bubble last night with KQos was one of the worst I can remember seeing

  4. QUOTE (Brian @ Jul 15, 2011 -> 12:07 PM) Not a fan of the Live coverage on ESPN. Too much commentary to cover up dull hands. Not being able to play online poker much anymore has really killed my enjoyment of watching it.

  10. Report: Peavy's next start pushed back According to the Chicago Tribune, White Sox starter Jake Peavy will likely make his first start after the All-Star Break on Tuesday instead of Sunday, when it was originally scheduled. After allowing five runs in 4 1/3 innings July 10, Peavy told reporters he "just simply didn’t have the stuff to put them away, and that’s been the case for the last three starts.” Peavy has struggled since pitching four stellar innings in relief against the Washington Nationals. In his three starts since the relief appearance, Peavy has thrown 16 1/3 innings, allowing 14 runs (all earned) on 23 hits, six walks, 10 strikeouts and one home run allowed. His ERA has gone up over a run in that time, jumping from 4.23 on June 25 to 5.27 July 10. After his July 10 start, Peavy all but predicted Wednesday evening's news, noting he thinks he would get 7-10 days off by being pushed back in the rotation. If he starts Tuesday, he'll get nine days off between starts.
