  1. QUOTE (SOXOBAMA @ Oct 30, 2012 -> 06:01 PM) I'm so glad this family is not part of the Sox organization anymore Oney Guillen ‏@Oneyguillen wow. awful signing. awful. god bless that money. but wow Will somebody please hit him with a cement truck?
  2. Eh, his September gives me some hope. I say we give him another chance, at least he is very solid at defense.
  3. Will MLB.com have the stats from these games?
  4. MinorLeagueBall.com came out with their preliminary 2013 top 50 hitting and pitching prospect list. White Sox don't have a single player on either list. http://www.minorleagueball.com/2012/10/8/3...s-list-for-2013 http://www.minorleagueball.com/2012/10/8/3...spects-for-2013
  5. Also, just think if the Braves were only down a single run or two when the infield fly call happened. They only play one game and the call just costed them the game and their entire season. And the protest has been denied.
  6. QUOTE (SexiAlexei @ Oct 5, 2012 -> 07:47 PM) No, if you want a full series, win the division. I get the point of making it more important to win the division. However, isn't the fact that you don't have to play an extra series enough incentive to win the division. It seems silly, to me at least, to play 162 freaking games and then play a single game to determine the better team. Just my opinion.
  7. Does anyone else have a problem with the Wild Card only being one game? I mean you play 162 games and your reward is a single game to decide your fate. I feel that it should be a three-game series.
  8. However, this is embarrassing Braves fans.
  9. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Oct 5, 2012 -> 06:59 PM) He was under it. By the book its the right call. He called it a millisecond before the ball dropped. Also, it wasn't an easy trip to get out there, it was a long ways. Terrible call.
  10. Infield fly rule in the middle of the outfield. Interesting...
  11. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Oct 2, 2012 -> 12:12 PM) I'd say keep him starting, and if he flops in 2013, he can be replaced. I agree. I think we give him one more year. The defense is great and who knows, maybe next year he becomes a much better hitter after ending the year nicely.
  12. Don't follow the farm system much, but wow Nestor Molina looks like he had a dreadful year.
  13. This was definitely more of a collapse rather than the results of injuries, in my opinion. The team lost their edge for some reason, the passion wasn't there. You are fighting for your playoff lives and you can't drive in more than a single run with the bases loaded. That's pathetic.
  14. Yikes, hope this isn't true. I'm probably the only one, but I love Hawk and Steve together.
  15. Wellp might as well enjoy the last couple days of White Sox baseball before what is going to be a really long offseason.
  16. QUOTE (chw42 @ Sep 27, 2012 -> 12:56 AM) You forgot a big f*** the Royals. f*** Jeremy Guthrie f*** Bruce Chen f*** Billy Butler f*** Alcides Escobar f*** Alex Gordon f*** Irving f***ing Falu f*** Johnny Giavotella f*** Lorenzo Cain f*** Jeff Francouer and whoever thought it's smart to intentionally walk him 4 times f*** Luis Mendoza f*** Kelvin Herrera f*** Greg Holland f*** the really fast guy that gave Konerko a concussion and whose name I can't think of right now f*** Ned Yost f*** Jonathan Sanchez for sucking so much that he had to get traded for Jeremy Guthrie f*** Melky Cabrera, his roids, and his fluke 2011 season that resulted in him getting traded for Sanchez, who then got traded for Guthrie. f*** that roid-head Salvador Perez, I can't wait until he gets suspended 50 games for PEDs. Most importantly, f*** DAYTON MOORE. Okay, I'm done. I lol'd. I'm with some in saying that it isn't a great year if we don't win this thing. We've been basically handed the division, but can't take it. Good year, yes, but not great.
  17. Gordon just stole a HR from Cabrera, 4-4 bottom of 5th.
  18. QUOTE (bucket-of-suck @ Sep 25, 2012 -> 04:47 PM) OK. I'll say it. Right now, his team doesn't deserve a playoff spot. Yeah, but neither do the Tigers. And I've also noticed that we can't do anything with good counts. As mentioned above, we are getting into a lot of 2-0 counts, but have nothing to show for it.
