  1. Most likely watching from home, but there's a very small chance I'll be watching from a sports bar adjacent to Lucas Oil Stadium.
  2. Last game on Saturday damn near gave me a heart attack.
  3. Anderson was a much better player before his injury, and yeah, not having to play Duke, ND or Louisville twice helped.
  4. Kansas is a lot more like the ACC teams that ND handled pretty well. Grant/Jackson/Connaughton are a very athletic trio that are hard for big teams to defend. WSU is better equipped to handle that trio, but then I guess that's why WSU won and Kansas lost.
  5. Neither of the last two games were anything resembling ND's best effort on offense, but they were pretty good defensive games. Need to play better than that to beat WSU, and way, way better than that just to not get embarrassed by Kentucky. The back to back games against Duke and UNC the previous weekend were works of art, however. No team outside of Kentucky has played that well in consecutive games this season. Also, ND has won seven games this season against five different Sweet 16 teams. In any of the other three brackets, I'd put good money on them to get to the Final Four.
  6. Yes, but their level of play is going to have to be more like the last two games of the ACC tournament and less like the first two games of the NCAA tournament if they want to win any more games. Am I wrong for wanting to play Kansas instead of Wichita St?
  7. 16 fouls on ND, 15 on Butler. You apparently missed all the times Butler got away with all the same stuff.
  8. It's fine as long as you're facing west.
  9. Most of these channels (anything with a -2 or -3 in the number) are subchannels. DirecTV does not carry subchannels and neither does Dish Newtork the last time I checked. If you have one of those providers, you'll need to have a digital antenna (and live close enough to the station) in order to get these channels.
  10. Where are you getting 1-5? Big 12 was 3-4. Not as impressive as, say, 6-0, but still better than 1-5.
  11. IU hanging in there at halftime. I either want them to win zero games or two games, but not one game. Also, I just realized that tomorrow will be my first time ever rooting against Butler in a tournament game.
  12. I found out why my kids did so well yesterday. Patrick Star (Spongebob character) said, "Texas is dumb," so both kids picked against all five Texas teams (when just about everybody else picked Baylor to win, most picked SMU to win, and several picked SFA and Texas to win), and all five Texas teams lost.
  13. Purdue and Cincy both playing like they really don't want to play Kentucky.
  14. My 6 and 4 year olds were two of them.
  15. ND outperforming the average #3 seed so far.
  16. This is the third time Indiana has gotten five teams in. Nine of the ten DI schools have gotten in at least once (IPFW has only been DI since 2001), but never more than five in the same year. EDIT: I just recounted, and Indiana did get six teams in 2000 (IU, Purdue, Butler, Valpo, ISU and Ball State), so that's one year with six and now two years with five.
  17. I would think this would be the more appropriate place for the college baseball thread since other college sports are discussed here. Perhaps a mod/admin could merge the thread in the Diamond Club into this one.
  18. You don't have to wait long to find out. Also, I didn't know there was such a thing as a survivor pool for the NCAA tournament.
  19. I would think the college baseball thread would be to discuss the sport of college baseball, and talk about individual players who might be in the 2015 draft should be confined to FutureSox.
  20. Only if Johnson has an incredibly good first 8-10 weeks and Garcia has an incredibly bad first 8-10 weeks. Then at that point maybe you consider moving Johnson up to 1 or 2 and Melky down to 5.
  21. Every team in the tournament is a possible future opponent.
  22. ND won @UNC, @Louisville, @NC State, plus beat Duke and UNC on consecutive nights in what were pretty much road games. Not saying that ND should be a #1 seed, but there really isn't that much difference between the two.
  23. Purdue attempting to preserve IU's legacy as the last undefeated champion would make for an interesting storyline.
