  1. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Jan 7, 2012 -> 07:01 PM) What the f*** happened to the real Joakim Noah? looked exhausted even in the first few minutes... kinda wobbly on his legs or something. hope he comes back stronger in the second.
  2. hahha the loose ball that Omer grabbed was like a kid finding an Easter Basket on the living room floor. "Oh hey, LOOK!" hahah
  3. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Jan 6, 2012 -> 02:40 PM) Southsideteacher is a lady, so I think she has unlimited access to female parts. If a girl blew me off for sports I would think it was hilarious and then get her tickets to the game so she cant blow me off next time. (haha there was a hilarious innuendo slip where I said "so she can blow me off next time", but the sentence was supposed to say "cant" the innuendo was supposed to be implied) hahha, SURE.... a SLIP. lol
  4. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jan 6, 2012 -> 02:34 PM) p**** > sports yikes. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Jan 6, 2012 -> 02:40 PM) Southsideteacher is a lady, so I think she has unlimited access to female parts. If a girl blew me off for sports I would think it was hilarious and then get her tickets to the game so she can blow me off next time. I'm still a LADY! *except in the case of seats ON the hardwood... then we can negotiate. kidding. I'm gonna go. Too late to cancel now. At least I told him I'd need to make it an early night... maybe I can meet the girls someplace to watch the 2nd half.
  5. I've got a promising first date scheduled for tonight that i'm now trying to think of a way out of... I'd rather watch the Bulls. Has my fan-dom crossed over into something wrong, or do you guys deal with these tough decisions too?
  6. When I first read the title of this thread--- I thought it was meant to be a joke. I'm only half kidding when I say that they'd have to give away the actual tickets to get me out to the Cell this year. Guess I'll just teach summer school and use the money for next season's Bulls tix.
  7. QUOTE (flippedoutpunk @ Jan 6, 2012 -> 12:01 AM) Not earth shattering, but its something i guess? Bulls Or Knicks Could Land Dwight Howard Chicago may be a logical landing place for Dwight Howard. With fellow Adidas superstar Derrick Rose a Bull, and Joakim Noah a defensive big man who could be sent to Orlando in a trade, Howard could wind up in the Windy City. Adidas would be delighted with that turn events, as the Nike rival ironically locks down the big Chicago market that Michael Jordan once ruled. The Knicks may also be in the running to bring Howard to New York. Sources tell Ken Berger not to be surprised if a trade sending Amar'e Stoudemire back to his native central Florida for Howard begins to gain traction. Stoudemire's uninsurable knees and James Dolan's willingness to sign off on a trade parting with the All-Star forward are seen as the two biggest obstacles to such a deal. It could also be that the Knicks would have to include Tyson Chandler in any such discussion with the Magic. Via CBS Sports Read more: http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/21808...d#ixzz1iegXf8TS I would cry real tears.
  8. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jan 5, 2012 -> 11:18 PM) http://deadspin.com/5873598/ Barkley says his weight watchers thing is a scam, thinking his mic was off the air. lawl. I love it when they complain about having to watch the Hawks, haha. It'd be badass if the Hawks were inspired by his "they ain't got nothin but a bunch of nice guys' comment and started tearing s*** up. [AFTER they see the Bulls again.]
  9. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jan 4, 2012 -> 09:40 PM) Xrays negative on derrick *exhale* @dan_bernstein: Thibs will now have DRose sprint thru traffic to the airport, play Russian roulette on the flight, and eat raw chicken upon arrival. If it didn't hit so close to home, i'd laugh.
  10. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jan 4, 2012 -> 08:50 PM) 2 minutes too late Thibbs. agreed. Night after night I find myself just sitting here PRAYING that nobody gets hurt in these last few minutes. ughh.
  11. HOLY CRAP. That DRose fall was hard enough to hurt MY soul. Dear God.
  12. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jan 4, 2012 -> 08:03 PM) You took a vacation to Detroit? hahah, HELL NO. I meant that I'm still on my winter break here in Chicago--- but a quick trip to see the Bulls kick ass in Detroit tonight would have been 47 times more fun than lesson planning at Starbucks for 6 hours. FAIL.
  13. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jan 4, 2012 -> 07:47 PM) It's there to make sure nobody realizes there's NOBODY at the game. I wish i'd had the presence of mind to grab some tickets. I'm still on vacation and a trip to see the boys on the road might have been a nice time. #droppedtheball
  14. QUOTE (Tex @ Jan 4, 2012 -> 02:54 PM) We'll sea how gull-able the world is with Iran and who may flock to buy their oil. bravo. very nicely done here.
  15. QUOTE (lostfan @ Jan 3, 2012 -> 11:03 PM) Then after the Bulls looked like they were about to get blown out, Rose somehow willed them back into the game single-handedly. All due respect to our MVP, Omer had a little something to do with this comeback as well. Defensively, he nearly killed himself for us tonight. He looked like he was about to collapse every time the camera cut to him on timeouts and such. (9 rebounds, 3 blocked shots, a steal, and a partridge in a pear tree.)
  16. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jan 3, 2012 -> 09:31 PM) What do you even call this one? Good win? these boys never EVER lose faith in themselves. I have YET to see this team phone one in like I see so often with the Sox and Bears. I call it "an absolute JOY to behold". I wish they were all like this.
  17. QUOTE (daa84 @ Jan 3, 2012 -> 08:49 PM) cant get 4 pts in 23 min out of brewer, 0 in 17 from korver, 2 in 9 from taj, 2 in 16 from noah, 2 in 14 from Asik and expect to win I don't get nervous with this team when we're down until the final minute. You just never know what they'll do to pull it off in the 4th. HOLY s***.
  18. here we go! edit: here we go??? Also, Dear Lord... Omer looks like he's about to die. Let's pull it together, boys.
  19. What's wrong with Noah's elbow. Did I miss somethin?
  20. QUOTE (iamshack @ Dec 29, 2011 -> 08:37 AM) Yeah, I think the friend is holding the other ticket for herself? Yeah, my best girlfriend got us a pair of tickets for when the death star comes to Chicago. So technically, yeah... I just got one ticket. But it's my favorite present this year and I couldn't be more excited.
  21. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jan 2, 2012 -> 05:09 PM) Hey look, j4l is telling everyone how the season will end, like he always does, since he is always right. Right? Didn't the heat win 72+ games last year and the title? thanks for this. ughhh. reading some of these posts make my blood boil. back the eff off. It's been 5 games. on a lighter note, I heard a good one today. Congratulations to the future Mrs. LeBron James. Who knew YOU'd be the first to score a ring? hahha
  22. I love this team. Sidenote: they're totally going to kick me out of my condo association for cheering so loudly. I don't care.
