Between Alexei and Stryker... my god it's like these two are the biggest... woo sa woo sa -
QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Jun 9, 2016 -> 03:08 PM) Sanders attitude right now seems fine to me. He's all but ended his campaign, just carrying through the next and final primary on Tuesday, and has clearly said that preventing Trump from becoming President is his number one priority and that he'll work with Clinton to do so. He'll endorse Clinton openly in due time, he'll speak at the convention, and he'll rally his supporters to GOTV for Clinton to keep Trump out of the WH. The tone of his campaign the past month or so was off-putting, but I'm confident that's come to an end and he'll be another asset come November. What makes you think that? Sanders owes nothing to the Democratic party.

The cycle of trying to using old ass veterans continues. The Sox don't have a single LHB we can call up?
-
Damn lol I didn't realize it was a reference to the score.

QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Jun 9, 2016 -> 03:04 PM) doesn't he hate us I can think of million reasons why he doesn't.

QUOTE (greg775 @ Jun 9, 2016 -> 02:12 AM) I would like an honest answer from you folks. My question, "Was Bernie treated fairly this primary season? Or was he robbed?" My answer to you is he was robbed. CNN declared Hillary the winner before the California primary which is bulls*** considering it cost him California. Why go vote if it's been decided? Also, he's not a fricking socialist, he's a Democratic socialist. We already have socialist aspects to society. He just wants more: free college education, free health care, etc. He is not the lunatic fringe nut the media portrayed him to be. And finally, he was robbed because of the Democrat's ridiculous superdelegate system. All the people Hillary has catered to rewarded her with their support. Of all the great women out there I can't believe she gets the honor of being first female president. My gosh, if the government was more aggressive, the woman LIKELY would be in prison for what she did compared to others who have breached security in government positions. I don't blame Bernie for not quitting. Be Hillary's pest.

If I was a manager and exceptionally bad at my job, I would have been s*** canned. The luxury of professional sports is great.

Nationals (Scherzer) @ Sox (Shields)

QUOTE (Baron @ Jun 8, 2016 -> 09:18 PM) The owner wont though. Honestly I hate tanking in any sport. I think there should be punishments/countermeasures for what some of these teams try to do. The lottery system for picks is somewhat a decent way to do it. -

QUOTE (ptatc @ Jun 8, 2016 -> 05:11 PM) True. But to me I still want it to mean something to me. Even though in the actual voting only Clinton has a chance in Illinois. That's completely understandable.
-
QUOTE (ptatc @ Jun 8, 2016 -> 05:02 PM) I keep thinking the same thing. however, let's be honest we know it's either Trump or Clinton. Voting any other way is as good as not voting. So I'm really trying hard to find the lesser of the evils. Here's the thing. Not living in a swing state allows you to be loose as hell with your vote to some extent.

QUOTE (Tex @ Jun 8, 2016 -> 04:39 PM) That is the inconsistency I am trying to explain, but not very well. A person is charged with DUI. We agree they are responsible for their actions. Now do we also believe that they are too drunk to consent to having sex and if someone has sex with them the other person would be charged with rape? If they are both drunk, that's a slippery slope. The problem with most of these cases it seems is proof. How do you prove rape?

QUOTE (Tex @ Jun 8, 2016 -> 04:28 PM) I like the under in the Brazil game. I also think Brazil will have a challenge to cover. I'm thinking a 2-1 or 2-0 game. Brazil has to find a way to get some better shots. They just don't seem as near dominate as they were in the past.
-
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 8, 2016 -> 04:24 PM) They're not chosen by fan vote. Ok so who chooses them?
-
QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Jun 8, 2016 -> 04:25 PM) from the 3rd party thread If you want to mainline some of the good (terrible) stuff that's the core of libertarian philosophy, poke around places like lew rockwell and mises institute. Hope you like hearing about things like why child labor laws are actually bad, confederate apologia, arguments for why slavery wasn't so terrible/taxes slavery and thus the cruelest thing ever, etc. That sounds quite archaic and reckless.
-
QUOTE (Tex @ Jun 8, 2016 -> 04:20 PM) Isn't that part of the issue? Neither person really can say no, but that is different than giving consent. In other areas, such as driving, we tell the drunk driver, you are responsible for your actions while drunk. Then we might tell that same person that they aren't responsible for having a sexual encounter because they were too drunk to consent. We have this patchwork of responsible and not responsible when drunk. I don't have a solution, but it seems like we are not consistent. Interesting point. Are you stating this in general or as it pertains to this case?

Brazil -2.5 over Haiti? O/U 3.5? Ecuador over Peru? O/U 2?

QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Jun 8, 2016 -> 04:07 PM) On the other hand, the LP policy platform is pants-on-head crazy The whole deal with every f***ing problem yourself policy?
-
QUOTE (Deadpool @ Jun 8, 2016 -> 04:10 PM) If you're not top three, you're not in and therefore no closer than anyone else who is not in. So there are no backup outfielders for the game?
-
QUOTE (Deadpool @ Jun 8, 2016 -> 04:06 PM) He's not really sniffing. He's pretty far behind the other guys. Do they roll out 3 outfielders for the whole game?
