  1. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Nov 7, 2017 -> 12:54 PM) Everyone just sits back and waits for the identity of the shooter. Half of the country hopes its a straight white male, the other half hopes it's a Muslim. Then I TOLD YOU SO!!!!!!! Politics at its best.
  2. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Nov 4, 2017 -> 03:12 PM) Well the other option was the insurance companies could drastically reduce their profits and that sure as hell wasn't gonna happen. The new coverage had to come from somewhere. Medicare for all. Stop the nonsense already, it's time. (not directing the criticism at you, just a general statement) People shouldn't be locked down on their jobs because of their health benefits. You should be able to open a business and not worry about that s***. It's sad, and I just recently got a job and have had a nagging shoulder issue for months. I'm happy I can finally get my shoulder looked at, in a month, when my benefits kick in, in f***ing america, the alleged greatest country on earth...
  3. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Nov 3, 2017 -> 02:16 PM) Ha, when I saw JR I immediately thought Reinsdorf. Duh, yes Joe Ricketts is a Trump supporter. Started against him then flipped when it became apparent that Trump was getting the nomination I was talking about Reinsdorf. It was super ambiguous, I should have clarified.
  4. is a JR an open Trump supporter though?
  5. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Nov 3, 2017 -> 09:59 AM) First open calls from Congressional Republicans for Mueller to resign Ok so Mueller is forced to resign, this s*** just doesn't go away! He has members of his teams who are also investigating. God, Trump and his band of misfits are so short sighted it's scary.
  6. Be honest people... how many of you thought that a Trump presidency could be this bad. The checks and balances are working thus far but his cult of followers are the ones that concern me the most. They are like zombies.
  7. Good for the Astros! I was wrong with my analysis of the series, the Dodgers strength turned out to actually be their achilles heel during this series.
  8. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Oct 30, 2017 -> 12:50 PM) via Going down with the ship eh Ms. Sanders? Commendable for sure.
  9. Epic ass game. Dodgers have ended up two up for grab games that the Astros won. So many home runs, it's insane.
  10. That being said, he is still the guy who got them here so you can't abandoned him.
  11. Giles is a mental midget.
  12. Gurriel had a Japanese teammate earlier in the season too. He is too old for that rhetoric.
  13. Dodgers will win tomorrow, run line. Place your bets.
  14. Tough game tonight. The Astros know Yu very well. McCullers is an unknown entity to the Dodgers. Dodgers won't have their best bats in the lineup. If the Astros get to Yu early, they will win, a pitcher's duel favors the Dodgers. The ball won't be flying out like it was at Dodgers stadium.
  15. Wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
  16. QUOTE (greg775 @ Oct 24, 2017 -> 11:26 PM) Turner is so hot it's unbelievable. What a postseason. The beard is hideous but he is simply amazing right now. The beard is the key to his abilities, he is samson, if you cut it off, he will be human.
  17. This will be a pretty good world series, like one of the first ones I've been excited about for a while. You have two of the best going at it and it should be a heavyweight type fight. Ultimately, I see the Dodgers winning this series due to their bullpen and pitching. As much as I like Keuchel, Verlander, and (McCullers, Peacock, Morton), I like Kershaw, Hill, Darvish, and Wood a lot better. As for the bullpens, it's really not a contest. Dodgers bullpen is lights out, just ask the cubs. I think the Dodgers win this series in 6 games or less. I could see the Astros roughing up Wood and Darvish in their two Houston games, but Kershaw and Hill will probably be too much for the Astros hitters. I see the Keuchel and Verlander starts going deep with a low score but their bullpen will ultimately let them down.
  18. QUOTE (BlackSox13 @ Oct 21, 2017 -> 10:27 PM) You gotta be a happy man right now. Any gut feelings on the World Series? Hmm, good pitching and better bullpen definitely goes to the Dodgers. I just think it's their year.
  19. Too easy. Chaching!
  20. Home team has won every game this series. That being said the Yankees, did finally win a road game against Cleveland in Game 5... will it repeat? Probably not, bet on the Astros to win tonight.
  21. Cubs lost to the best team in baseball, there is no shame in that.
  22. Who were the people who said the cubs were going to win tonight?
  23. QUOTE (bmags @ Oct 19, 2017 -> 08:07 PM) You are good at this. It's not over yet but it's a damn good start.
  24. Another decision why I think they will win is you're most certainly going to see Hernandez and Forsythe tonight and those guys are better offensively against LHP versus Utley and Granderson against RHP. Forsythe has AL experience and has seen Q before more than most of the Dodgers.
  25. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Oct 19, 2017 -> 02:47 PM) Nice, I always have faith in your betting hunches. I just really worry about the Dodgers getting hits against Q, I think he's gonna shine. But if there ever was a time for Kershaw to kill those postseason demons it would be now, because even a loss leaves them two more chances. I think Q gets shelled tonight. I don't think he's pitched this much in his career and I don't think the Dodgers want to give the Cubs any momentum. Kershaw wants to shake his boogey man and the Dodgers roll. Probably a similar scoreline to game 1, 5-2.
