  1. Sphincter clenched tight when the ball is hit in the direction of Dunn
  2. The single most important thing for Abreu going forward will be learning to stop his swing on balls out of the zone, if he can
  3. Might be sensible or whatever but Tyler calling a heater high out of the zone on a 3-2 count in a perfect game makes me sad
  4. QUOTE (bulokis @ May 5, 2014 -> 07:18 PM) Once Eaton is healthy, i want more Danks over De Aza. lol
  5. Should've pinch-ran Paulie
  6. Holy f***ing christ that's bad
  7. Cubs announcers talking about Tyler Flowers's BABIP. *bro fists screen*
  8. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAH AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
  9. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ May 4, 2014 -> 06:16 PM) Is it true he only threw 62 pitches? If he can stay healthy, he is going to be good one 62 aye
  10. Danish 6.0 IP, 1 hit, 0 runs, 2 walks, 5 strikeouts, ERA on the year now 0.84
  11. Allowed a walk and a hit in the 5th, got out of it scoreless.
  12. Tyler Danish perfect through 4. 4 strikeouts. 0.90 ERA on the year now.
  13. Matty Ice Seriously though, he looks way better
  14. QUOTE (flavum @ May 4, 2014 -> 01:25 PM) Danks needs AAA at-bats, unfortunately. Yeah I mean he's only had 1500+
  15. Jose was pissed after his last at-bat last night. Took him just one to set it right.
  16. Cleuluis Rondon made 2 errors. I can only assume a Rondon error is a 600-foot home run he didn't quite catch.
  17. Ravelo 2-3 with a HBP. Currently hitting .355/.510/.592 with an OPS of 1.102 Micah went 1-3 with a walk. Hitting .363/.454/.513 with an OPS of .967
  18. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 3, 2014 -> 07:33 PM) Just to say again...when Mike Trout was drafted by the Angels...the only post on this page was, and I quote "Boy, the Angels sure do like their outfielders don't they?" No one here showed any outrage whatsoever. Oh sure, I'm not saying it was bad of the White Sox or whatever, I'm just crying in hindsight that they could have stumbled into him given their general philosophy at the time
  19. Still crying that the White Sox were in a toolsy outfielder phase for a few years and took literally every single one of them except Mike Trout
  20. QUOTE (Marty34 @ May 3, 2014 -> 06:51 PM) What positions do you think guys like Ravelo, Semien, and Mi. Johnson end up playing in three years? Ravelo is really only a 1B/DH type I fear, Micah might not stick at second and could have to move to the outfield, Semien probably 2B.
  21. Anyone that can confirm or deny my recollection on Abreu of him having a tendency of getting a bit antsy in big situations and getting swing-happy? Might be a bit unfair as he's got a walk-off grand slam, but I think there's been a few times where he seems to get to the plate and feels like he has to swing at everything.
  22. QUOTE (Marty34 @ May 3, 2014 -> 06:10 PM) Ravelo is a guy who doesn't get a lot of attention. I get that hasn't hit homers, but the numbers he's putting up so far are outstanding and he's young for his level. I hope he doesn't turn out to be a Jeff Abbott-type. He's been mentioned a lot on here and Fangraphs have had a couple of articles about him. The big issue with him is where he plays if the bat is major-league ready.
