Anderson to get traded, to the Marlins. With Maybin hurting a bit with his hamstring, they'll need a young CF to replace him, BA would be the perfect candidate. If the Sox just wanted to bring up another OF, they could just go with Bourgeois instead.
-
Melville was the guy that Bureau liked, they have him at #10 to the Astros. If Beckham slipped to #8, I'd be all over that however.

That's way too high a price for Willits. And I'm a big fan of Reggie, but a lot of people think he may have overachieved last season. I don't know if the Angels would want Crede, he's not enough of an offensive upgrade for them IMHO. Would have to be something like MacDougal + Shelby + another prospect.

Noah is a scrappy PF in the Anderson Varejao mould IMHO. He could play C if you're playing a fast break offense, but the Bulls aren't going to do that. Gray is nothing more than a backup at best. The Bulls are mostly set elsewhere. Hinrich / Hughes / Sefolosha are the guards (with Gordon leaving, probably to Memphis in the off-season). You've got Deng and Nocioni at SF, and Gooden and Thomas at PF (and you could work Noah in there as well).

I'd still have Ramirez to start the season off down in AAA. He needs to be playing every-day, whether it's at 2B, SS or CF. He can do that in Charlotte. I don't see him as a starter for the Sox, because he's still too rusty defensively for mine. He's got the natural athletic ability to be a good defender, but he needs to refine some thing first. Offensively at least I think he's shown he's ahead of where people thought he may be against major league pitching (even though it's ST in Arizona). I'd have Richar at 2B, Ramirez at AAA, and trade Uribe, and have Bourgeois on the 25 man roster (but in this scenario they're likely to keep Uribe for insurance I think).

Safety is very thin in the draft. May have to go with Archuleta again, as bad as that is. Shouldn't of traded Harris. As for the DL, they'll go Dvoracek back. They were at their best when Tank Williams was there, rotating in and out, but unfortunately he couldn't stay out of trouble. Really, Angelo didn't do a good job in the draft last season. Wasting a 3rd round pick on a 5'7 running back for instance, when he could have chosen a safety, a guard etc. -
That's exactly what I need to do with my laptop as well. I'll try that out tonight.

QUOTE(shipps @ Mar 6, 2008 -> 01:10 AM) I remember the game on Nintendo.It was so frustrating trying to swim in two dimension. I could never get past level 3, and MegaTurtle. The most annoying thing, when you die, you start all the way back at Level 1. You just can't be bothered doing it all over again.

Just want to know, why some people think Hilary will get the nomination if it goes to the convention in Denver, and if she's behind in delegates? Is it because of the super delegates, who will be yet to decide (and Clinton will do anything she can to get them on board)?

Fitzgerald is a pipe dream. You'd have to re-work his contract, and he's asking for the moon currently. Arizona needs to hang onto him. What was Berrian's contract that he signed with Minnesota FWIW? Just want to get an idea of how much cap space the Bears have left, and whether they could have re-signed Berrian or not. Javon Walker there was really not much chance of happening, especially when Al Davis is offering insane money. I just look at the Bears offense right now, and I struggle to see them scoring a lot of points. The QB spot is iffy at best, the OL needs at least 2 new acquisitions, they need a big time playmaker at WR still, and you don't know if Benson is going to be the guy at RB. And they have an OC in Ron Turner who Bears fans' seem to love to criticize. Not as much as Shoop though. -
I saw about 3 quarters of the Memphis vs. Chicago game late last night. Memphis are just horrible. Defensively, argubly the worst team in the league. And they need shooters in the worst way possible, Mike Miller being out really hurts them. As for the Bulls, not much competition, but some decent signs nonetheless. I don't think Darko getting over 20 points, bodes well for the Bulls though. They need a draft a C, or at least sign one in the next off-season. And there's a couple of good ones in the draft in the top 5 or 6, but the Bulls would have to get lucky with the ping pong balls.

And importantly, Savard actually likes Ladd, so he's going to use him. That line of Ladd - Toews - Kane, that line should be a building block for this team for a long time. And also, we have to re-sign Jason Williams. He is injury prone yes, but this team looks a lot better offensively and on the PP when he plays. And he's at around a point per game pace this season.

QUOTE(SoxAce @ Mar 5, 2008 -> 03:10 PM) I mean a consistent WR who can give you 6-7 catches a game e.g a Bernard Berrian Don't think Hester can do that. -
That's about $150M in total contracts they've given to Gibril Wilson, Tommy Kelly and Javon Walker. Al Davis is truly insane. Oakland is the worst sport franchise in any American Sport right now. They're a complete JOKE.

Hilary's up by 100,000 votes with 90% counted in Texas. Hilary's got Texas in the bag I'd say, although there's still a bit of counting in Dallas and Harris which should close the margin a little.
-
QUOTE(fathom @ Mar 5, 2008 -> 04:28 PM) Fox News close to calling Texas for Hillary. Yikes.
-
Yeah Harris is the key right now IMHO. Only 14% reported, and Obama's up by 46,000 there. If that gap continues, he can reel Hilarity back in.
-
And that's only good for me.
-
A bit deluded I'd say; Well Texas is about to write a new chapter Hilarity.

I wonder how much Booker has left. He's probably more of a move the chains guy at this stage of his career. The Bears still need a speedy, gamebreaking wideout, and no I don't think Hester can develop into that guy. -
Suddenly this team has won 8 out of its last 11. The playoffs are a distinct possibility right now. Nice to see Ladd get another point, been a good acquisition thus far (even though Ruutu is doing great in Carolina).
-
Looking at Texas, it seemed that the major cities were Pro Obama, but Bilary is winning the majority of the country / border states. The gap is down to about 30,000. I actually think Clinton might win Texas now, although it is still too close to call, and way early to do so. EDIT: And then I saw Kip's post, and I hope he's right. It's going to be tight either way I think.
-
Considering the 3 a.m ads publicity etc. over the past few days, I think those exit polls are very good news for Obama, and not so for Clinton. If those results do occur, she's done IMHO (even though she won't drop out).

Saw this in the San Fran. Chronicle;

Yeah but that takes ages, and you die too much doing that. That's why Donatello's smart.
