  1. If you could sign Crede to that contract (but he'd have to prove he could hit the same as 2006), I wouldn't mind that move. I'd offer Fields for say Linecum or something like that etc.
  2. Check your folders etc., in your drives, to see what is taking up all of the space (right click on a folder, and hit properties, and see how big the folder is). You could always get an external hard drive for the future also.
  3. Sounds as if you are running out of hard disk space. Delete some files, or a disk defrag, which is on the start menu somewhere.

    Mrs T.'s Pizza?
  5. Sweeney = Jeremy Reed v2.0 at this point, unless he can start to hit for power, whenever that is going to be. It could happen this next season, or it may not at all.
  6. An interesting blog post on last night's game and the future;
  7. Deron Williams had himself a game. He'd be the 1 player I'd love to pair with Dwight Howard for the next 10 years.

The captain of the ship is an Aussie Actor Grant Bowler. I've seen him on a few shows before down here. Bit weird seeing him with a beard though.
  9. Bulls choked in the 4th quarter again I see.
  10. QUOTE(The Ginger Kid @ Mar 15, 2008 -> 09:42 AM) count knocked around, Thornton dinged up, lineup anemic. not good, sox fans, not good. I just don't think you can take much stock into what pitchers do in Spring Training in Arizona. Besides, Contreras had looked good prior to today anyways.

Well I've heard places say that the 6 are those 6 that I mentioned (more often than not), but some others are speculating that Aaron may not be part of the 6. So I guess we'll have to wait and see.

It's Aaron. The 6 are Jack, Kate, Sayid, Hurley, Sun and Aaron.
  13. If we're talking for needs, everything. Depth's especially needed position wise at C and anywhere in the IF. Pitching is always a priority, but we do have more arms than hitters at this point in our system.

Apparently the flashback was for Jin, and the flashforward was for Sun. Basically just to screw with you. And Michael was the spy. Booo. Please lets not go back to the "I just want my son back!" dialogue.
  15. That just shows how good the top 9 teams in the West are, and how unlucky (my guess is Denver) is going to be to miss out, because they'd be top 3-4 in the East easily. The Magic have basically played their season in 3 parts. Part 1 was opening 18-4, and ending with some huge wins on the road in the West. Part 2 was going under .500 for about 25 games, treading water. Majority of games at home. Part 3 has been since then when we've gotten back on track and beaten the majority of teams we've played. It depends which version shows up in the playoffs if we want to do well.
  16. Well considering how bad the pen was last season, they probably figure they need all the help they can get there. And yeah, Contreras, Danks and Floyd will have points where they get shellacked and can't go many innings, for you need a long guy in there definitely, and a few others to pick up the slack. I have no problem with it, so long as the pen performs overall better as a group than it did last season. That's a MUST.
  17. His knee injury must be pretty bad then for the Lions to do that. The Lions might be in the market for a RB in the 1st round now.
  18. I said battling for a playoff spot, not neccesarilly winning one. Phoenix is only 2 games above .500 against the West, and yet they've won something like 42 games haven't they? So if you can be elite against the East, and decent in the West, you can still make the playoffs in the Western Conference. I'd also have to look at the home / road splits for Western Conference teams. If Orlando has played more on the road for example, then you have to take into account the amount of travel (from roadtrips etc.) they would do, compared if they were based out of I dunno, Sedona for example.
  19. Not great. Masset seems likely to win a spot because of his option. That means it's down to Mac and Wasserman for that 7th spot. Mac easily has the better stuff, but he hasn't pitched well at all. There's a thought that Ehren is simply just a ROOGY though.
  20. I remember when Aaron Rowand used to struggle mightily against pitching low and away. He was just terrible there. And look at where he is as a hitter now. Bad habits can retun bearsox, but if you work on your swing enough to fix things, I'm more inclined to think they're more likely to go away. Maybe BA has finally realized that, and done something about it. Any average major league hitter can become better if they work hard enough on their weaknesses. Look at Juan Uribe. He has all the talent in the world, but because he's too lazy and disinterested to change his swing, he suffers badly.
  21. Toby Hall or Thornton are probably the most obvious ones I would guess. I would also suggest A.J but there's always something going on with him.
  22. The D-Backs and Angels were the 2 teams I was thinking of. Don't think Arizona can take on too much more in terms of payroll though.
