  1. KW still has that dream of Crede turning into Adrian Beltre of 2004. Most of us doubt it's gonna happen.
  2. He's in a contract year, so he'll probably finally produce amazingly, and then turn into a another version of a poor man's Erick Dampier pre 2004.
  3. He's also got a high rate of Chicago White Sox players in the clubhouse wanting to bash his head in.
  4. The difference there is that Crede makes about $650,000 I think (only going off the top of my head) and Garland could make anywhere from $2.5 mill to $4 mill, that's why people are getting impatient with Jon. No way should we give him up though, even though he's been mentioned in the RJ deal, which is probably the only way he'll be moved.
  5. We could always bring back D'Angelo Jimenez ya know.
  6. With the Cell becoming more of a hitters park over the last few seasons, Crede's stats should be going up, like Eric Chavez's did in his 1st 3 seasons, definitely not down.
  7. If Steinbrenner is desperate he could offer that. Otherwise it would probably have to be some other NL team unless Boston can resign him.
  8. Highest Fielding Percentage of all NL second baseman of .995.
  9. Now would that be part of Jesusland? (Now doubt Ned Flanders would live there) I want my state to be included in that as well ya' know.
  10. Polanco's a FA. It wouldn't cost us anything to acquire him except part of our payroll. Would you rather a fat lazy (possibly) Carl Everett for $4 million or a smart infielder like Polanco for anywhere between 2 to 4 mill?
  11. Looks like Kip actually remembered Alaska and Hawaii.
  12. Gammons now trying to put some humor in his articles. :sleep Pedro already has a 2 year $25.5 mill offer with a $13 mill option on the table. Talk about setting the market. That's about the same type of deal as what Fartolo Colon got except he had a 4 year deal. Loved this stat too. Joe Crede OPS (.816, .741, .717)
  13. Polanco's OBP's from 2000. 2000 - .347 2001 - Missed Season 2002 - .316 with Cards, .353 with Phillies. 2003 - .352 2004 - .345
  14. There's no doubt A-Row is better suited to hitting in the #2 hole or even lower down in the order at #6 or #7 where he get far more RBI oppurtunities. Rex Hudler has already stated though that Vizquel doesn't want to lead-off and it could be some sort of clause in his contract in order for us to be able to sign him. I doubt Ozzie can put up with Willie Harris leading off at 2nd for another year either. The best solution would be to trade Everett and some prospects, possibly in a 3 way deal and try to acquire Juan Pierre or Luis Castillo. Then you can move Rowand to right field, or Uribe becomes your super utility player off the bench.
  15. I knew someone was going to say that. Forgive me Mr. Polish President or Prime Minister whoever you are.
  16. We've been lucky. 2 games won by 1 point. But we can't let big guys kill us in the paint, Cato, Battie and Howard have got to a better job defensively then what they did tonight. The Bulls look to have a good nucleus a young wing players now. Getting Crawford out to the Knicks only helped. But Chandler didn't look great tonight at all, didn't get many minutes and you just don't know what to expect with Curry, even though it's a contract year for him. My guess is they'll resign Curry, not to a maximum deal though, and try and trade for a star PF, or draft one if they get a top 3 pick.
  17. After the 1st game it's already official: The Curry / Chander ERA is OVA. :finger
  18. I had an interesting discussion with my family about the U.S election result yesterday. We are mainly opposed to Bush, although we didn't like Kerry either, so I'll say that straight off the bat. We came up with an interesting question though. Countries like Australia and the U.K helped America invade Iraq, and even today many people in these countries have not liked the decision due to the lack of Weapons of Mass Destruction found. My question is this; If a country like Indonesia that has strong terrorism roots invaded Australia, would the United States of America come to our aid, and come to this country and help defend us? What if they were in another country like Iran or Syria at the time?

  20. First 20 to 30 games he really, really struggled making the adjustment from low A to high A ball, and he was hitting below .200 I recall. There was rumblings for him to be sent back down and for Nanita to be recalled as he was killing the ball back down at Kanny. But eventaully, Brice got his stroke going and his average went up at least 80 points.

  22. Yeah we got owned tonight. Brezec and Okafor killed us down low, Stevie Franchise only had 7 points I think, and Dwight Howard only had 2 points after getting 4 fouls early I think. But still I'm happy with the start we've made, but we have to play better defense still. We're not going to win many games at all if we concede over 100 points every night.
  23. That $4 mill could be the difference between us getting a true #1 starter or a mid rotation guy.
  24. Also are you pick up a hooker, where's a good place to take her when you have to go somwhere "Secluded".
  25. I assume you got like 10 moves exactly. For some reason, it only goes up like 10 or 20 points each time for me. EDIT: I got it. I was pressing each button too early, before each one came exactly into the circle. Loved the song you were dancing too as well.
