    Kate Beckinsale.
  2. The guys are actually havin fun playin baseball again, and it's showin in their numbers, Konerko is a perfect example.
  3. Too bad that isn't enough for sum ppl because of his paycheck. At least it's not a long term deal and it finishes next season.
  4. I'm rootin for Calgary, Kiprusoff was a great pickup in my fantasy league this year. Go the underdogs!
  5. I think he'll be playin AAA ball bf then, so u mite miss out on seein him.
  6. Angels Fans are very happy with their new owner. The team looks very, very good on the field too, plus they resigned Garret Anderson today as well.
  7. Well it is trade season already, I've heard Roy Halladay is available.
  8. All we need now is a picture of Yao Ming.
  9. IT IS the ultimate hiding place for that Christmas jumper you never want to see again: at a starting price of just $US6 million ($7.8 million), a US company is offering to dump it on the moon. Anyone wishing to see the back of unwanted gifts, embarrassing photographs, unlistenable CDs or other intolerable bits of junk has until 8.08am AEST tomorrow to bid for a berth on a private spacecraft that will crash into the lunar surface. The winning bidder in the MoonCrash auction, which is running on eBay.com, will secure a special burst-proof cannister to load with whatever cargo he or she chooses for the one-way flight. The aerospace company behind the project, Orbital Development, of Carson City, Nevada, says the "condition of the cargo cannot be guaranteed" after the crash landing, but expects that to be part of the appeal. Although no one had bid the $US6 million reserve price as of last night, company president Gregory Nemitz said he was confident of attracting someone keen to mark their mark on the moon. "The MoonCrash Project would probably be attractive to some bored rich guy who is tired of playing with his radio-controlled model airplanes and wants to move up to the next level," he said.
  10. Is that before or afta today's game?
  11. Reed and Borchard hav had pretty good starts to the season though, both hittin ova .300 I think. And the starters are pitchin quite well too.
  12. Jeremy Bonderman has looked pretty impressive so far this season for Detroit.
  13. He won't get traded in the 1st year of his long term deal. We're not talkin about a Mike Hampton type of situation here where Halladay just can't pitch at all. He started out slow last year, like he's doin this season, and he still won the AL Cy Young. If Toronto wants to remain competitive in that division for the next 5 years while they wait for their prospects to get used to the big leagues, then they hav to keep Halladay. Talkin bout pitchers from Seattle, I'd say if they are out of the hunt, they'll want to trade Jamie Moyer, not Gil Meche or Joel Pineiro. And Riccardi would want a Kris Honel type of pitching prospect if he would trade Halladay.
  14. J.P Riccardi is the best GM in the businesss in my opinion, he's buildin the Blue Jays around pitchin. There's no way he's goin to trade their ace pitcher afta he just signed a long term deal. Delgado is prob walkin. afta the season so if any1's goin to get traded it will most likely be him. If we are loookin to trade for sum1 from Toronto, it should be one of their young stud prospects like Aaron Hill.
  15. My thoughts exactly, if eva we were goin to jump out to an early lead, now is the time. Minnesota's got big injury problem's, and pitchers like Lohse hav struggled so far. KC's rotation is lookin brutal with Anderson their #1 starter gettin shelled. Cleveland are actually playin farily good baseball, it's just that guys like Jose Jimenez and David Riske has lost a lot of winable ballgames for them. The Tiggies don't worry me at all, they'll come flyin back down to earth.
  16. I know Ozzie is goin to get a rousing reception tomorrow, and he deserves it. None of the players deserved to be booed so far, but things like that happen. Pay - Rod was bein cheered at his first AB against us at the Bronx, and when he struck out in the 3rd game, some ppl started to boo him. My guess is that if any1 is goin to get booed, it will be Aaron Rowand. He hasn't had the best start yet which is disappointing for him since he had such a great spring training, and if he doesn't pick it up, some fans mite start askin where's Jeremy Reed or Joe Borchard?
  17. If u hav it on PC or PS2, then yes it's possible to play on-line. I know some posters here play in a SoxTalk Online League as well.
  18. LOL, if eva I get to go to San Francisco, I wanna be one of those dudes out there in a life raft waiting for sum1 to hit a homer in the bay. That's unless I'm in the stadium watchin.
  19. A DWARF mouse named Yoda has celebrated his fourth birthday, making him the oldest of his kind and far beyond 100 in human years, the University of Michigan Medical School says. Yoda owes his longevity to genetic modifications that affected his pituitary and thyroid glands and reduced insulin production - and which left him a third smaller than an average mouse and very sensitive to cold. On the other hand, at the human equivalent of about 136 years, Yoda is still mobile, sexually active and "looking good," said Dr. Richard A. Miller, associate director of research at the school's geriatrics centre. Yoda lives in a carefully maintained lab with roughly 100 other male geriatric mice being used for a lifespan study. An average lab mouse lives slightly more than two years. Yoda's cage mate, named Princess Leia after another "Star Wars" character, is a much larger female who uses her body warmth to keep the dwarf mouse from freezing to death. Researchers are studying the genetic mutants to determine how altered hormone levels can slow the aging process, with the hope of figuring out which methods, if any, eventually could be applied to humans.
