MLB considering no crowds allowed on Opening Day?
Age is a huge factor, but yeah.

MLB considering no crowds allowed on Opening Day?
Two things are evident to me: Removing fans is necessary (need to limit virus spread to help our healthcare system) Games should probably be played Play to empty stadiums, keep people safe.

Two problems: Don't get trapped in the steals game. The fact is, your highest OBP guy should lead off. Steals are nice, but ultimately the only thing you need from your leadoff man is to get on base. Moncada runs and Anderson runs are equal. Based on 2019 numbers, Moncada should be leading off. The hope is that one of the young guys will get on base enough to justify leading off. I agree that the best White Sox team will have Tim Anderson in a 6-9 spot.

COVID-19/Coronavirus thread
I agree to some extent there is a possibility Seattle or somewhere in California becomes the next Wuhan, but it's hard to measure the degree to which the Chinese cover-up lead to Wuhan outpacing the rest of China. Basically, I don't know that there will be another Wuhan.

Good. This would mean we completely avoid any of the Cubs missteps with the young core. Huge for Hahn et al.- Cubs 2020
When we were going for it and failing every year, the Cubs were an interesting example of what to do (rebuild and win). Now that we have rebuilt and are poised to win, the Cubs look like a "What not to do" on the back end. They ignored pitching, spent on the wrong free agents and are now looking at a potential early window closure. I have to think we're in somewhat better shape in terms of long term success thanks to Hahn's signing our guys earlier. If Hahn can sign Moncada, I feel extremely positive about this organization for a long time.- 2020 Catch-All
I used to own a Formula 1 (quartz) but I now have an Aquaracer. The Aquaracer is definitely better quality IMHO. The automatic movement is definitely the way to go so it will last forever. If you can afford the ceramic bezel, get it. If you're open to non-TAG models, I strongly recommend looking for an Omega Seamaster or Speedmaster. There are some good ones which can be had for $2000 with guaranteed legitimacy. Then I would recommend you find an Omega boutique (they have them everywhere) and have them give the full service. They'll replace the gaskets, clean it out, make it look like brand new, and then you'll get it back. For about $2500 you have a rehabilitated watch good as new. I know nothing about Prada bags or LV, but if you buy a TAG and a LV bag, you'll be writing a big ole check to the same company (LVMH).- Predict the OD Lineup
It's not against the rules, period. If the rules are poorly defined, the parameters for breaking them are flawed and cannot truly be broken. Period.- Sox in Discussions for Moncada Extension per Y2Jimmy
Odds are he'll be great in 5-6 years. I don't even care if it's a bit of an overpay. The kid is great and has earned some good money.- Official NHL COVID season thread
