Bout ready to watch Minny beat Dallas again. Lehtonen in goal, which is a better sign for Dallas (It's true, but I can't believe it's true)

QUOTE (Tony @ Apr 24, 2016 -> 12:23 PM) This is where the NHL has a problem. Washington was just called a 4 minute high sticking penalty against the Flyers. Problem is, it was a Flyer teammate that got the stick in the face, not the Caps. But no review, and the PP went on. That needs to be reviewed, not some ticky tac offsides play that happened 30 seconds before a goal is scored. I think all major sports, especially aerobic ones should have a live replay official to confer with when something is close. Would save so much time.

QUOTE (soxfan49 @ Apr 24, 2016 -> 09:52 AM) Can anyone confirm what Hitchcock said to Pierre during his in-game interview? According to my dad, he said "we like playing here, but this is a different animal." Of course, I couldn't hear so he told me this via text messaging. The guy is 66 years old and texting isn't his thing. Did he mean: Hitchcock said "we like playing here" but he wasn't prepared for that crowd Or did Hitchcock actually say that? That is a legitimate soundbite. And I think he was referring to the whole situation. Crowd energy, opponent energy. All of it.

QUOTE (iamshack @ Apr 24, 2016 -> 11:20 AM) Are you at all influenced by the reports of poor reliability with the Model S? While Consumer Reports stated it was the best performing vehicle they have ever tested, they could not recommend it due to above average reliability problems/issues. Definitely need to take this into consideration, as there are going to be at least 400,000 of these Model 3's out on the road (if they ever get built) and literally no mechanics to fix them.

Avi Needs to Go
Another vote for adios to Avi. Seems like a good guy, but this is baseball, not politics.

QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Apr 23, 2016 -> 01:42 PM) Pretty clearly you're not alone. Of course, instead of staying home, you could vote for the Libertarian candidate. Getting a 3rd party candidate up near 10% might get some attention. With a lunatic like Trump in the election, Gary Johnson could get 5-10%. Personally, I might go that way only because my vote as a "Texas liberal" doesn't matter, because red state.

QUOTE (kevo880 @ Apr 23, 2016 -> 12:52 PM) Looking at new Honda's since my sister is a manager at a Honda dealership in Aurora. Any thoughts on the '16 Accord or Civic? I think the new Civics are pretty slick. I drive an Acura (mine is a TSX, so a European Honda), and I honestly think the new Hondas are starting to make the Acura offering redundant. The Accord is an incredible mid level car and the Civic looks amazing. I have to do a double take looking at them.

I'm mildly shocked with the way these past two games have gone. Not sure I should be, but wow. Finish this series.

QUOTE (Tony @ Apr 23, 2016 -> 08:32 PM) I would have NO problem trading Teuvo in the right package, but I don't think his value is going to be very high after this last two month stretch. Shaw's a RFA, right? Maybe move his rights? It won't get you a lot I suppose. Teuvo could maybe net a potential 4th defenseman.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Apr 23, 2016 -> 08:25 PM) I hope some of the younger wingers are ready next season because they are going to have to deal for defensive depth. Any thoughts on who that would be? Not being smart, I'm just curious.

QUOTE (Tony @ Apr 23, 2016 -> 08:15 PM) I know Q doesn't have a lot of options, but I don't know why he isn't just going full blast with 2-4-7 and seeing what happens. Agreed. They need to win one game. Deal with the fallout of that later.

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Apr 23, 2016 -> 03:32 PM) Too bad Q couldn't make it work with Trevor Daley, seems to be doing OK in Pittsburgh. He's just so useless defensively. He's probably still better than a lot of what we have, though.

QUOTE (Tony @ Apr 22, 2016 -> 11:49 PM) As PuckDaddy just pointed out, Dallas has 10 million tied up in their goaltenders through 2018 And the funny thing is they played the wrong one tonight. I don't know when Benn and Seguin need to get paid, but that must be right around the corner.

That was a fun one in Dallas. I still think Stars win the series, but really they have no shot against the Blues if they meet in round 2, let alone the pacific team.
