His last four first round picks in Oakland were Robert Gallery, Fabian Washington, Michael Huff and Jamarcus Russell, and his only three first round selections in Cleveland were Manziel, Barkevious Mingo and Justin Gilbert. He had credibility years ago. His last stint where he was majorly involved in football operations was a complete shitshow in Cleveland.

That doesn't excuse the dumb things Lombardi, who you apparently think is very credible in his thoughts on current NFL football, said about the Doug Pedersen hire. Lombardi when the Eagles hired Pedersen: "He might be less qualified to coach a team than anyone I’ve ever seen in my 30-plus years in the NFL." Of course Nagy is still somewhat protecting Trubisky. He's played like 26 games since his 18th birthday, and 13 of them were in UNC's crazy ass offense and the other 13 (besides one) was in a run/run/pass/punt offense led by the incomparable John Fox. If you really thought Trubisky was going to have a second year like Wentz, your expectations were too high to begin with. I told you all I still think they win 8 or 9 games this year because I expect a lot of ups and downs from the offense- raw QB, rookie coach, totally new pieces and a brand new/innovative offense. What did you truly expect?

I think the blitzes could have been a tad more exotic. They were simply sending Smith and Trevathan straight up the middle into interior OL and RB's.

And even then, I would have went for it on 4th and 1. Either way, Rodgers is scoring a TD, so a 24-23 loss is the same as 24-20.

Don't be ridiculous. In hindsight, yeah maybe the pass works to Sims. Maybe it works at the end of the game, but they have a Pro Bowl RB. The easy call is a run with Howard. If he doesn't get it, they're in the same spot. At that point, everyone and their mom knew Rodgers was scoring a TD, which is why on 4th and 1, I either run it again or QB sneak it.

The Kopech injury was a knife to the back. The Bears game last night was the twisting of the knife. It hurt a lot. I put a lot of money into the Bears especially- season tickets, apparel, memorabilia- and they never fucking love me back. It really fucking hurts today. @Jack Parkman I wish you the best. Fuller always seems to play his worst against the Packers. Look at the home game last year when Hundley stuck it up his ass. That was piss poor and last night was worse. I also have Bears/Arizona tickets but this will require me to fly there. I also feel like I’m making a mistake. Also like you, I’m so god damn sick of this franchise letting me down. I should be used to it but that loss last night was crippling.

He said he’s “looked so bad in big moments.” This was one moment. What other moments has he looked “so bad?” If Nagy runs on 3rd and 1 (and then again on 4th and 1 instead of pussing out and kicking a meaningless FG), we’re praising him for a clock-eating, game-sealing drive.

He didn’t when he made that big completion to beat Baltimore or when he got them into FG range vs Detroit (only for Barth to blow it).
