  1. All this talk about who plays 3B. How about just leave Davidson there?
  2. QUOTE (iWin4Ron @ Feb 27, 2018 -> 07:25 AM) You know it's logically consistent to be a critic of something that you are a fan of, right? Try to stick with the details and not useless spam please. But is it really “logically consistent” (whatever that means)? Every single one your posts is not only critical but pure cynical, hateful and gloomy. You have nothing good to say and it’s been going on for months now. If you don’t like it- to the extent of 7 words you had to use asterisks in- find a new hobby. Everyone here is passionate about the White Sox but no one is as pessimistic about them as you are about the WWE.
  3. QUOTE (iWin4Ron @ Feb 26, 2018 -> 08:22 PM) There is some seriously s*** storylines developing.. Reigns vs. Lesnar --> We saw this coming one year in advance. Unbelievably predictable and saad as fans can't get behind either of these guys. Lesnar is a PT who has held the belt for a year and everyone is over his s***. Reigns is self explanatory. Alexa Bliss vs. Nia (?) - This is a good feud for a B or C level PPV, sure, but for Wrestlemania? God, I hope not. Nia is a fine contributor to the division, but this is absurd as the main event for woman's title on raw. No WM feel at all. John Cena vs. Undertaker (?) - Cena said this wasn't going to happen, but why state it? What's he going to do on SD? Face Orton? Even worse, get involved in the title picture? Ugly options all around. P.S. NO ONE wants the Undertaker at age 52 at WM in a match. Matt Hardy vs. Bray Wyatt - Wyatt is DEAD. DEAD. They've buried him so much, when he comes on, I snooze. Hardy at least has some appeal, but every week that he's in a program with Wyatt, his appeal wears off. Bayley vs. Sasha - This is something that interests me, but they've done it pretty half-ass. This should be a title feud elevating both competitors in a legendary WM match, but instead it's likely heading to a non-title feud at best, and at worst a kick-off show pre match for s***s and giggles. I'm interested in this, but I fully expect a botched storyline 90%. Rousey vs. Authority - Just lol. Why do the mcmahons need to do this to feed their ego? I read a rumor month(s) ago that Steph wanted to face Rousey at WM to get her name more known to the mainstream as she starts to take over more of the business. That's just f***ing insane ego-wise. The only thing good about this is HHH/Steph obviously know the business, so rousey is in good hands as she learns the ropes. The authority angles always f***ing suck. So, oh well. It's sad, because the Royal Rumble was actually quite good. Somewhat predictable, but quite good. It's like WWE ramps up the bull s*** as it heads closer to WM with the legends in full swing and saying f*** you to the wrestlers who break their backs for the business. And yet you continue to watch
  4. QUOTE (ChiliIrishHammock24 @ Feb 26, 2018 -> 12:50 PM) Two 1st RD picks, and one of them lottery eligible? Oh s***, I'm pumped. They got 2 first round picks? I thought it was a 1st, 4th and a prospect
  5. QUOTE (ChiliIrishHammock24 @ Feb 21, 2018 -> 02:44 AM) I'll be real, real upset if we sign Moose and forfeit our 2nd RD pick to do so. That would be the 45th overall pick. We took Alec Hansen with the 49th overall pick in 2016. Would you be willing to give up Hansen in order to sign Moose? I sure as hell wouldn't. You could probably look at the twenty previous 45th or 49th pick and find a bunch of guys who never made it. I’m not necessarily advocating the signing of Moustakas but it sure as hell would have nothing to do with that pick.
  6. QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Feb 20, 2018 -> 08:11 PM) Really bad news for us. Pace completely ignoring the position last offseason is really going to cost us. Landry is overrated. There will still be decent WR’s on the market and you build in the draft anyway.
  7. QUOTE (Tony @ Feb 18, 2018 -> 07:20 PM) Debate all you want. I’m not going to comment on what seem like baseless allegations at this point, but guess how this can all end? The Blackhawks being honest about this injury. They’ve had two months. It’s 100% unnacceptable. The same Hawks who parade Kane (speaking of coke use) around town as a changed man, brought Sharp back, and continue to honor Hull? That is highly doubtful, Tony, and even if they did, the married father would probably be presented as an A+ citizen like the rest of these doofuses. This organization is incredibly difficult to cheer for
  8. You can poke fun if you want. I know you’re not dumb enough to think that every pro athlete gets suspended when they have drugs in their system. 75% of the NFL smokes weed; do 75% get suspended? I think it’s also well known how often coke is used in pro hockey. Also, good jab with the post listing a few illegal drugs. Who brought up opiods or heroin? Bet you feel badass after that write up. My source is a sports personality in Chicago. He could be wrong, but he’s usually right. If it’s a concussion, then Toews probably wouldn’t have said this: “Crow knows he’s trying to get better. He’s one of those guys that we know we can rely upon as a person, as a teammate. He’ll do what he can to get himself better.”
  9. A few side effects of long term cocaine abuse: severe/unrelenting headaches, vertigo, extreme fatigue, and weight loss.
  10. QUOTE (Tony @ Feb 16, 2018 -> 04:46 PM) It’s embarrasing how the Hawks have handled this. I hear it’s a substance abuse issue and it’s been going on for quite some time now
  11. For those of you that follow these specific Sox prospects, can you give MLB comps for the following: Jimenez Dunning Kopech Hanson Robert
  12. QUOTE (jerm13 @ Feb 15, 2018 -> 06:31 PM) I'm going to be flying to Chicago in September and will be going to my first White Sox home game. Which side would be best to sit in terms of avoiding any direct sunlight? thanks. First base side, but if you insist on sitting behind the Sox dugout, try to sit in rows 28+. You’d be under the overhang then
  13. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Feb 13, 2018 -> 03:02 PM) Why don't baseball tickets go on sale earlier? You would think the Sox could sell a lot at Soxfest if they set up some sort of box office, without ticketmaster fees. Agreed. Just going on random team sites and it seems like every team already has individual games for sale.
  14. QUOTE (hi8is @ Feb 11, 2018 -> 11:27 PM) Is this trying to say that Jones believes his career is over? Correct. At best, not holding out hope for much success if he does pitch again
  15. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Feb 11, 2018 -> 11:24 PM) But.. but... according to the media, Lynch robbed Pace blind and said he would've taken Foster even higher! Lynch is the best GM of all time!!!!!!!1
  16. QUOTE (ChiliIrishHammock24 @ Feb 12, 2018 -> 12:11 AM) To be fair, I've always hated Seabrook. Hated him, or disliked him as a player? Lazerus’ point is that people are saying ignorant, personal s*** about these guys
  17. I have a buddy who knows Jones really well. Let’s just say that at this point if the Sox get anything of value out of Jones, it wouldn’t only be a surprise to us and the Sox but to Jones as well
  18. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Feb 11, 2018 -> 04:03 PM) Not wrong, but pretty unprofessional to tweet. And Laz is known as a Hawks suck up to management. Unprofessional to remind people who HATE Toews, Keith and Seabrook that they’ve combined for 9 Cups? ok.
  19. QUOTE (FT35 @ Feb 11, 2018 -> 08:54 AM) I truly hope...that someday...we’re in a position where we can decline to sign Manny Machado because we’re satisfied with Tim Anderson at shortstop. Wouldn’t you still want a guy who’s as talented as Machado anyway, to play 3B perhaps?
  20. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Feb 11, 2018 -> 05:39 AM) Mark Lazerus is done with your s*** He’s not wrong
  21. Darvish has a career postseason ERA of 5.81
  22. QUOTE (Sox-35th @ Feb 8, 2018 -> 10:04 PM) Well, McDaniels will probably never be considered for an opening again. Unless it’s with the Pats, and consequently, that’s the only job he’ll want
  23. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Feb 6, 2018 -> 07:46 PM) Wow that is a disaster. There has to be more to that story. He must think Beli is resigning or something and that he's taking over the Patriots. Or that Luck’s arm is a noodle
  24. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Feb 6, 2018 -> 01:18 PM) Technically Chip Kelly and Doug Pederson won this superbowl. They run a lot of that Eagles offense (especially for Foles). Kelly's concepts were great, his ego was just too huge and he couldn't deal with the pro's. I think if he was given another shot he might excel. They got McAdoo right. I probably shouldn't say that cause I am not implying that Pederson didn't do a heck of a job cause he and his staff (and the front office) all did an awesome job in Philly. That team came together beautifully. Kelly got another chance after Philadelphia
