  1. QUOTE (ptatc @ Sep 29, 2017 -> 09:26 PM) Glennon's play should absolutely no impact on the decision to play Trubiskey. Who cares what the rest of the team thinks right now. The decision should be purely based on what is best for trubiskey in the long term. If he is having difficulty with decision making in practice or the film room, you don't play him. These type of issues will get him, the receivers and the o-line injured. If find it hard to believe that Fox wouldn't play him if he thought Trubiskey gave him the best chance to win. Fox's job is on the line and he knows it. The only other factor would be if Pace told Fox not to play him and then the point is moot. The starting OL is completely healthy. Furthermore, I'm done with the "Trubisky isn't ready yet." You know what, evidently Glennon isn't either. He is not ready to start for any professional football team. We should expect Trubisky to struggle and make mistakes BECAUSE HE IS A ROOKIE. Glennon is making rookie mistakes as a veteran in an offense requires him to do next to nothing. He is pathetic.
  2. Glennon excuses 1) He's a leader and organized! Missed snap count and ill-timed timeout earlier 2) Trubisky is inexperienced! Doesn't play at all in two blowouts to gain experience 3) He's accurate and takes care of the ball! 8 turnovers in 3 games 4) He got paid so he'll play! Makes $18m guaranteed regardless 5) They weren't going to win this year anyway! Best D, ST, OL and run game Bears have had in 6 years
  3. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Sep 20, 2017 -> 07:13 PM) Gonna have to compete with the Colts for a new coach. I wonder if Harbaugh would go there to reunite with Luck
  4. Phillies up on LA in the 5th, 2-1.
  5. QUOTE (Joshua Strong @ Sep 19, 2017 -> 03:35 PM) Who's coaching the Bears next year? Jim Bob Cooter? David Shaw Josh McDaniels Matt Patricia Cooter Teryl Austin That is my top 5.
  6. If Trubisky is inactive vs ATL I'm going to be very upset and I'll have a hard giving a s***
  7. Some season predictions: Heisman finalists: Barkley RB, Darnold QB, Mayfield QB CFP: USC, Florida St, Ohio St, Oklahoma (yes, no Alabama. Too many tough games- FSU, TENN, @ MISS ST, @ AUB, MISS) FSU beats OSU to win it all
  8. Going to the Iowa/PSU game. Any must eats in iowa City?
  9. Jaye Howard getting thrown out for attempting to/actually punching another player with a helmet on is very stupid, but now I kind of wish Meredith would have thrown a punch after his nice catch on the first drive. FWIW, there needs to be an end to 4 preseason games. Furthermore, Fox still having Howard, Sitton, Floyd, etc in the game is idiotic.
  10. QUOTE (soxfan49 @ Aug 22, 2017 -> 08:06 PM) Anderson is having a night to forget Another night to forget, to be exact
  11. Anderson is having a night to forget
  12. QUOTE (Middle Buffalo @ Aug 20, 2017 -> 12:30 PM) I don't think Tanimal is exactly a wordsmith, but other than the first one, it all makes sense to me. Well, maybe I missed all of this in school as well as the fact that half don't make sense. 1) When would Kevin White have time to watch ALL of Fitz's games? 2) Get out of the gate QUICKLY is what he meant 3) Not sure hideous is a word to describe the way a football team's DB's play 4) I've never heard the dog expression in my life
  13. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Aug 19, 2017 -> 08:44 PM) Yeah he really really sucks now. But Shields has never been good and they gave up players for him. Holland was a wild card signing and he actually had some success for a while. Thats what I was comparing to. Never?
  14. Anyone ever listen to Dan Hampton and actually understand what he's saying? "When you are the lead horse the scenery never changes" On what the Bears need to do today: "get out of the gate" On the secondary last year: "Hideous!" On Kevin White: "he needs to watch every game Larry Fitzgerald has played" On the young guys playing better than the old guys in week 1: "when young pups bite you know they'll be good dogs"
  15. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Aug 18, 2017 -> 01:41 PM) I very much disagree with this. The Phillies are 2 wins ahead of the White sox right now. The tiniest winning streak pushes them ahead. It's very much up in the air. I think he meant we know who will be picking 1 and 2, not necessarily in what order
  16. And Gio is pitching for the big club on Minnesota. Here we go.
  17. When Jimenez and Gio leave MILB, we have to start saying Hansen is a top 5 prospect in the organization, right?
  18. soxfan49 replied to bmags's topic in FutureSox Board
Hansen has a 2.72 ERA this year. Am I missing something about him "not being good?"
  19. Tim wasn't looking for the hanging slider on 0-1 there
  20. One of the best catches you'll ever see
  21. QUOTE (chitownsportsfan @ Aug 8, 2017 -> 08:20 PM) What a f***ing rocket from Smith. WTF do I know, Ricky the mad genius batting him cleanup. edit, he's 5th, sorry Avi, forgot you. Please. Guy has a 650 OPS. No credit to Renteria.
