Talk about disgruntled Cub fans, anyone hear about the astros/giants controversy earlier today. Felipe Alou, manager of the Giants, rested EVERY regular positional player on his team. Basically the Giants were playing with secondary players at every position besides pitcher. When the Giants lost, immediately Cub fans started complaining about the integrity of Felipe Alou. If the Cubs wouldnt of won, then management would of went to the commisioners office and complained. I dont see the Astros complaining of the AAA team the Cubs are playing now. When Houston had majority of their games against Cinn. most of their good players were still on the team. Houston playing secondary Giants is the same as Cubs playing the Reds. But that idea wont satisfy them, just like the blown ump calls during the Cardinals series; Pujols had a bad call, Alou had a bad call....it all evened out

Dont know why your playing the race card. I may not agree with Roman all the time, but he didnt make any insult or reference to you being Latino. It annoys me when people use their race as an excuse when people dont agree with them.

I didnt mean winning ugly by the way he pitched, I was referring to the way this team put up a huge 8 spot to give him the lead. Much like the game in Clev. where the team rallied to give him the win late in the game. It probably would of been his final inning of work because of his pitch count (101). So regardless of the result he wouldnt of came out in the 7th. Even though I might of sounded like I wasnt given him credit, Este pitched a hell of a game. And with the Kc loss to detroit tonight, the sox have took hold of second place. Ending the season ahead of KC has to be their main goal in the upcoming series.

I believe Frank would stay in the AL if he left. His body would not be able to take the daily abuse that a first baseman endures. How can any team have faith in franks defensive abilities when he can barely throw to second? If the situation would ever warrant it, I couldnt imagine Frank throwing a ball to third or homeplate. Smart teams would take advantage of this at every opportunity.......... At 35 years old, Frank cant be an everyday 1st baseman. He should just keep playing DH so he can extend his career.
