Sox etiquette
QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Feb 28, 2006 -> 08:44 PM) Rule number 1: Never listen to snb. Seriously, if a big play is happening stand up and cheer, no doubt, but don't stand at random times like some people do, it gets annoying as hell. alright, let me rephrase my statement Rule 1: Don't stand up to get something to eat/drink or go to the bathroom in the middle of a play. It happens way too often at the park. Stand up and cheer at the right moments, I'm sure you won't be the only one in the stadium doing it.

Favorite WS Game 2 Homer
PK's homerun will be probably the most memorable home run/moment of the entire playoffs. I think alot of it has to do with the fact that it was the first pitch right after a long commercial break. It was the exact image that was going through all of our wishful heads during that break over and over and over.

Lasik Cost?
besides, your clean cut, metro appearance would be severely hampered if you had to wear glasses all the time

Lasik Cost?
QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Feb 27, 2006 -> 07:46 PM) I don't think I could do glasses full time. I play basketball and football at least once a week and all I'd do is worry about getting my glasses broken. And I refuse to sport goggles like James "Big Game" Worthy. yeah I see where you're coming from. When I play sports, i can just take them and have no problem seeing what I need to see.

Thomas takes high road in response to Williams
Soxtalk's already in midseason form in the arguing department. Midseason form: "Are you IN or OUT?" "optimists vs. pessimists" "fathom vs. everyone" Good job everyone!

Lasik Cost?
I know that if I ever tried contacts, I would never be able to get them in. I can see pretty well without my glasses, just won't see a whole lot of detail watching TV or won't be able to read things somewhat far away, but I wear them just about all the time. I guess I'm one of the few that has no problem w/ glasses.

When Frank comes back to Chicago..
QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Feb 27, 2006 -> 10:36 AM) Hopefully he does. He's in the driver's seat now, if he chooses to go that route. ....and that's not going to happen, we all know that.

QUOTE(kapkomet @ Feb 26, 2006 -> 03:08 PM) I have a couple of ideas I'd like to get in place before the season starts. Scoreboards and things like that are one such item. i remember i had an idea way back a few years ago, if it was feasible for us to have our own "gameday type program" to give quick updates for people that need them at work and such. I guess gamethreads kinda do the job, but just a suggestion to throw out there.
