  1. QUOTE(SnB @ Sep 24, 2005 -> 10:14 AM) Big game today for the illini. It's a "winnable" game, compared to some of the others on their schedule. Alot of things have to go right for us, but we'll see, just don't dig yourself a hole early. Pull this one out boys, campus starts believing again. ORANGE oops

QUOTE(beck72 @ Sep 24, 2005 -> 10:02 AM) Carl has still been productive this yr, even with a sub .250 avg. And in the playoffs, Carl will be heard from, mark my words sub 250 average? in the 3 hole. no, that shouldn't happen on any team.

Ok, before i just disliked carl because of his skill, now i just plain dislike him. "it's always me" dear carl, maybe that's because you're the one that doesn't do anything productive.
  5. Soxtalk needs to supply cake to its members that'll make everyone feel better.
  6. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Sep 22, 2005 -> 11:32 PM) Man you guys are letting this get to your heads... can't we let the choking avatars die?
  7. Nobody can smile like shingo could.
  8. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Sep 22, 2005 -> 11:11 PM) Can we please let the Rally Crede thing die already? no period.
  9. rally crede needs to go to the gym so he can carry a team on his back
  10. agreed. hawk was obviously very upset and that's why i like(d) him. Because he spoke his mind and felt like we felt during down situations. This season he's changed a whole lot and has been completely positive, finally he goes back to his old roots, and i appreciated it.
  11. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Sep 22, 2005 -> 10:17 PM) You said people shouldn't be upset b/c of all the choke talk, b/c the team deserves it. I don't know how that's going to make anyone feel better. Some people like this team and actually take some pride in it. you two just need to meet and fistfight and get it over with.
  12. Dear fathom, 2.5 months ago or so i told you to lighten up, there is no way this team doesn't make the playoffs. I apologize.
  13. QUOTE(DonkeyKongerko @ Sep 22, 2005 -> 09:58 PM) That talk was certainly justified during the Yankees series. Nice hold by Bobby, 1 out. he's talking about iguchi.
  14. carl shouldn't even be sniffing the middle of the order right now.

  18. QUOTE(DonkeyKongerko @ Sep 22, 2005 -> 09:08 PM) Ball four. Ford looked to be out on the replay. i thought he was out in real time, it looked like uribe's stride took him right to his back to tag.
  19. didn't we used to have a good bullpen?
  20. QUOTE(whitesoxfan99 @ Sep 22, 2005 -> 09:04 PM) Especially those that can't get anyone out. that and ozzie's use of neal this season. believe it or not, neal can throw a FULL inning or 2 ozzie.
