  1. so i definitely didn't get my spanish conflict exam. so this means 1) i won't be able to go to game 2 on wednesday AND 2) the exam is at 7, the game starts at 6, so i'll be missing a good portion of it awesome.
  2. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Oct 3, 2005 -> 10:03 AM) Hav a good one Keith!!!
  3. QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Oct 2, 2005 -> 10:17 PM) Have you ever noticed what ESPN runs opposite of Monday night football. -- It's nothing but Ice Skating, Rythmic Gymnastics, and Women's Billiards. -- ABC and ESPN are both Disney, and one of them falls on the sword for the other. They don't want to take any of MNF's audience, so they run crap. there was scrabble on ESPN today at noon, competing w/ the NFL. So it's not just when ABC has something on.
  4. can't agree with him more on the resigning konerko thing. He's our oly consistent offensive threat and unless you're magically going to replace that production, you have to pay him. Also, everett should have been out of the 3 hole a long time ago. If dye isn't in there on tuesday, i'm going to be pissed.
  5. QUOTE(AnthraxFan93 @ Oct 2, 2005 -> 11:24 PM) I hope so I plan on buying 1 ALCS and 1 WS game..the ALDS to me is not playoffs; its just another Bud Selig attempted to cash in on the game. wow wow wow wow how do you take yoruself seriously?
  6. QUOTE(Punch and Judy Garland @ Oct 2, 2005 -> 09:33 PM) wednesday at 6? Ouch. Lost is on at 8, hoping for a blowout! wow
  7. Upper Deck, around homeplate for games 1 and 2 woooooooooooo
  8. does anyone even go to movies anymore? i sure don't
  9. 1) keep damon and renteria off the basepaths. if you can do that, manny and ortiz won't seem as scary
  10. QUOTE(DonkeyKongerko @ Oct 2, 2005 -> 03:56 PM) Tomorrow will definitely be a long day now. tommorow, i get my work done for the rest of the week.
  11. QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Oct 2, 2005 -> 04:27 PM) You're welcome now that's just ridiculous
  12. QUOTE(CanOfCorn @ Oct 2, 2005 -> 02:50 PM) Someone needs to take that drummer out. It's really annoying. the red sox just did, up 6-0
  13. QUOTE(White Sox Josh @ Oct 2, 2005 -> 01:22 PM) i've been to the campus before. I liked it all though you are right things are sort of spread apart. all big universities are.
  14. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Oct 2, 2005 -> 12:19 AM) Depends if you like to walk. The campus is totally pedestrian (park your car at the stadium) at leave it there. However, when everything is green its beautiful. Also, if my classes are any indication, expect the profs and not ta's to do much of the teaching. Also tons of support services and clubs and organizations. Everyone is pretty nice. The town leaves a little to be desired. As far as sports....the football team is eh....tailgating is pretty good.....lots of parking lots.....basketball games are much different as Hilton is among the top college bball environments.....wrestling team is legit top 10...the club hockey team is ranked fifth and has been winning games 12-1.....womens bball is actually very well supported here......soccer and volleyball are improving. The dorms are standard prison issue. We whore out the fact we invented the computer. Tons of engineers. Really need to visit to get a feel for the place. that entire paragraph could be used for U of I too
  15. i'd rather it be a night game for the sake of my school schedule, but oh well
  16. QUOTE(3 BeWareTheNewSox 5 @ Oct 1, 2005 -> 09:09 PM) MLB.com says that the game that does not contain the wild card winner will be primetime, so we'd be 3 pm on Tuesday, but I'd kill them if they put us on at noon on the ESPN promo's the past few days, they say the divisoin series will start at noon central on tuesday....does that mean anything?
  17. ....this weekend can't be over soon enough
  18. there's no reason #51 should be on the roster.
  19. QUOTE(3E8 @ Oct 1, 2005 -> 02:15 PM) I really want Boston. my preference: 1) yanks 2) sawx 3) halos
  20. QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Oct 1, 2005 -> 02:12 PM) That's bittersweet for me. Glad the Sox are winning... But, this (potential) loss for Cleveland might be huge for us, too. Doesn't New York win the AL East with a win today and a Cleveland loss? That will probably mean that New York plays their scrubs tomorrow, meaning Boston has a huge shot at winning. Damn. I don't want Boston in the first round. all of this is too confusing to think about. so just sit back and enjoy some quality baseball.......or turn on the MSU/UM game
  21. and MSU with the most hilarious fumble return of all time.
