  1. QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 23, 2005 -> 07:43 PM) Tampa's had plenty of chances to bust the game open, but they keep hitting into double plays. they're the devil rays.....

    i'm also a fan of winning games.
  3. who is this ozuna character?
  4. QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 23, 2005 -> 07:27 PM) I'm sure we'd have to lose 20 games in a row before any serious changes were made to the greatest team ever assembled, but I don't see why we can't let Rowand bat 2nd, and Iguchi 3rd. a month ago, i would have called you crazy. but with the way they're hitting, why not try stuff like that, see what works, instead of waiting for everyone to come out of their collective slump
  5. QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ Aug 23, 2005 -> 07:21 PM) ...the big story here is Iguchi's inability to get the man over the past few weeks. he's really been struggling in that department lately, oddly enough, that's the department he excelled at the first half.
  6. only noteworthy thing so far: paul konerko's facial hair was not to blame for his suckitude

    to be honest, one of the big reasons i chose to come here was because of the sports. i needed someplace with a good atmosphere and big teams somewhere close to home and cheap. perfect fit. going to a fball/bball game is really my favorite thing to do on campus. Let alone, it's the best public school in the state and looks great on any resume. Plus you get to be arrogant to other in-state school's students.......joking, joking

    QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Aug 23, 2005 -> 04:29 PM) Your dad is absolutely right. Though I quite enjoy the Uno's deep dish and Malnati's/Giordano's-style stuffed pizzas, they are not classic Chicago style. Cracker crust, loads of fresh mozzarella, good Italian seasoning in the sauce, and spice Chicago sausage, with the slices cross-cut into squares and NOT pie wedges – that's Chicago pizza. And I refuse to vote in the poll. Three-way tie, and the commonality between all of them is the good Chicago beef that is our hallmark and legacy as the former stockyard capital of the world. Damn I'm hungry now. go eat some oranges

  13. QUOTE(Steff @ Aug 23, 2005 -> 03:27 PM) Way to make YOU cry.. how do you think I felt writing the check for FOUR seats.. PLUS extras...??? satisfied
  14. QUOTE(Steff @ Aug 23, 2005 -> 03:24 PM) This is if he only has 2 seats and didn't buy any extras. $55 X 2= $110 + $15 = $125 X 3 games = $375 $100 X 2= $20 + 15 = $25 X 4 games = $860 $185 X 2= $370 + 15 = $385 X 4 games = $1540 Total - $2775 way to make me cry steff
  15. QUOTE(JUGGERNAUT @ Aug 23, 2005 -> 02:42 PM) The last thing the Chicago White Sox need is for women's groups to start portraying White Sox fans as male chauvenist pigs. they're baseball players, therefore their jocks, therefore they are chauvenist pigs
  16. QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Aug 23, 2005 -> 01:41 PM) Thankfully, I'm afraid of needles. agreed. if i wasn't, i'm willing to bet i'd have some sort of sox one already. .......no cw jokes people.

    QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Aug 23, 2005 -> 02:03 AM) Dude, we'd take you seriously, but you're what, five, six years old? Before you get all pissy, I'm just kidding. Pauly, speaking of parties and having a good time, I gotta go to one before school starts. I need to... uhh... "cleanse" myself... rather... heal the pain that is reading Jane Eyre. sounds like keith needs to make a trip down to champaign

    Just to add, SF1, did you ever think we all aren't out to get you? There's a reason why everyone takes things wrong when you say it, you come off with an attitude and it shows through. Believe it or not, some of us were trying to help and show you your attitude problem. (ie: kap and others), but you chose the wrong path to go. You burn your own bridges.
