As much as I've stanned for Gonzo, he has a 1.261 OPS with 12 HR and home and a .739 OPS with 3 HR away. He's benefitting from that bandbox in Charlotte. I'm bearish on him after seeing those splits.

He's obviously played well in AAA. The fit is questionable because he is a lefty 2nd baseman. I wonder if the fact that he is Japanese influenced the decision at all. Bring up another player from Japan to make things easier on Mune - even though he seems to be adjusting well to the US. Gotta keep Mune happy! Just off some basic Google Earth measurements I did yesterday, the stadium will have to be similar to Fenway with the Green Monster due to the width of property.
