The Sox whole damn lineup is lefties basically. The only right-handed regulars are Vargas and Meidroth. This team will get eaten alive if we face a good lefty when we make the playoffs. What's the solution here? Is trading for a right handed DH the obvious move? They really could use a righty between Mune and Colson.

What are we thinking Soxtalk? The team seems to have a lot of middle infield prospects at the moment, especially with the imminent Roch pick. Do they make some trades or hold off? If Jacob Gonzalez has regained value by mashing in AAA, as a 1st round pick who is a lefty SS, I wouldn't be terribly upset if we flipped him. I have no idea of Gonzalez has any value though.

I can see Jerry Reinsdorf refusing out of principle - even with the low payroll and with Ishbia taking over in the near future. It's a total Reinsdorf move to refuse to give that much to a player that hasn't proved it in the MLB. Like how he is with giving pitchers big contracts.
