  1. Have any articles touched on the possibility of a retractable roof? The renderings I saw definitely didn't have one.
  2. Make sure to work out your core muscles regularly. Don't want to hurt your back from carrying all that water for the organization.
  3. You can't cage this bear.
  4. Was 90s ballpark food bad?
  5. Nothing there is alarming from an environmental standpoint. Building on fill material next to a river won't take a stroke of engineering genius like he is describing. It's nothing that unusual. Soldier Field is built on fill material. That entire area used to be part of Lake Michigan. http://www.encyclopedia.chicagohistory.org/pages/3713.html
  6. What type of engineer are you tray?
  7. Apparently they've already done investigation and some remediation at the location, which makes sense. Looks like they wouldn't need any more investigation, and minimal reporting. I think at this point they'd just need to remediation consisting of digging up the dirty dirt and making some barriers, which would essentially coincide with regular construction. I don't see it as a major hurdle.
  8. I'd imagine the environmental investigation and remediation will add an extra year onto the process, at a minimum.
  9. Similar minds think alike
  10. Nothing there would be too difficult or expensive from an environmental or structural standpoint to overcome. Lincoln Yards sold for 7mil an acre despite being riddled with environmental issues.
  11. I'm sure Tim would be ecstatic about being moved from a premium defensive position to RF
  12. I'm still rooting for the Cubs. However, if this happens then I'm back.
  13. Remember how Rahm made Ricketts' life difficult when he was trying to buy up and redevelop Wrigleyville? I don't think Ricketts will have enough sway to do what you are saying. Their family is not well liked by Chicago or the politicians here.
  14. I would become a Sox fan again if this were to happen. This is huge.
  15. Keith Law hates the Orioles, that's why
  16. O's hangout generally agrees that he is a moron
  17. I figured Jerry West would come upn. I always thought he was more responsible for the early 2000s Lakers than Mitch, but I could be wrong.
  18. You can't cancel that thread. It's like cancelling a holiday tradition. His posts are always quite flashy though. I enjoy them.
  19. If you think this is exciting, just wait for his annual attendance thread!
  20. Just say no to Joey "Nick Madrigal" Ortiz!
  21. Give em hell @greg775
  22. Name me other GMs who won championships after their original championship core/stars retired. I'll be waiting.
  23. Shut yo damn mouth up
  24. Krause moves: Traded for Scottie Drafted Horace Found and hired Phil as an assistant from the Albany Patrons of the CBA Fired Doug Collins and promoting Phil Hiring Tex Winter (triangle offense) Trading Oakley for Cartwright Trading Will Perdue for Rodman Signing Kerr and Harper Drafting Kukoc Yeah, what a bum. Totally won despite his terrible moves.
