Unfortunately Abreu manages to kill his trade value before every deadline. Sox won't trade him for peanuts, and that is what he is worth tbh. He is a good clubhouse presence, so I imagine he'll stay.

You look at our minor league system, and it is stacked with position players and pitchers. You've got guys like Alex Call who are way down on the prospect lists posting .900 OPS in AA. The white sox have to have surpassed the yankees, padres, braves of the world. I know Toronto is looking good too. Is any system as good as ours? I'm not as familiar with others.

Slightly off topic. I decided to check the numbers of the other top 3 prospect in the league. Good GOD Vladdy Jr has some freakish stats. OPS north of 1.100 in 61 games as a 19 year old in AA.

He's played great for them. He's a good bench player to have on an NL team
