  1. QUOTE (Knackattack @ Aug 3, 2015 -> 10:31 PM) I think he tried to hold Eaton last week and Eaton literally blew him off and ran right to home I was at that game, he originally sent Eaton right when Eaton was touching 3rd, then put the stop sign up to late because McEwing wasn't that far down the line where Eaton could react in time.
  2. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Aug 3, 2015 -> 10:15 PM) If Alexei doesn't hesitate, it might of been closer. He waited to make sure it was going down
  3. QUOTE (greg775 @ Aug 3, 2015 -> 10:13 PM) How can you not hit to the left side there? He's got to go left. Maybe bunt that way. Man on 2nd, you don't want to hit it to the left side......
  4. Why the **** would you send him there???? oh my god, holy ****
  5. QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 3, 2015 -> 10:08 PM) He has been really bad at his GM job I really disagree with that.
  6. Who the hell would call a curveball to mahtook? That was a brutal call.
  7. QUOTE (GreatScott82 @ Aug 3, 2015 -> 09:40 PM) She is a hotty! And more importantly she is a true LASS kicker! A very talented wrestler. I'm still waiting for a Sasha vs Becky rematch. Agreed. I love her.
  8. Get this dub boys!! Not out of the WC race yet, keep the momentum.
  9. QUOTE (GreatScott82 @ Aug 3, 2015 -> 09:31 PM) Can they pinch manage for Robin? You're picture of Becky Lynch under your name, I'm gonna marry her some day. I love her.
  10. Abreu is swinging with one hand. Wow. You can tell he's hurt.
  11. Win tonight and we are back within 2.5 games of WC.
  12. QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Aug 3, 2015 -> 02:40 PM) Chicago White SoxVerified account ‏@whitesox White Sox have promoted Nick Hostetler to director of amateur scouting and Doug Laumann to senior advisor to scouting operations. This is a big move. Why is it a big move?
  13. Another Donaldson HR. Is he the favorite for MVP in the AL? Tex, Trout, Cain, have to be up there as well
  14. QUOTE (LDF @ Aug 3, 2015 -> 11:21 AM) 100 ummm do you not think that is a little costly??? Not for an everyday player that will produce a 3-5 WAR. Cespedes, Upton, and Heyward will all get over 100 million
  15. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Aug 3, 2015 -> 11:16 AM) Im not arguing that he has no value, i am saying that he is merely a placeholder and to believe otherwise is foolish. Valencia would have to have a Joey Bats type coming out party to change my mind, and I highly doubt that happens. I agree with you, definitely a placeholder, but can play 1B, 3B, and the corner OF spots, so he can make a great bench player as well. I'd love if they put a claim on him.
  16. My thoughts: Guerra at 30 over guys like Leyer, Wheeler, Rondon (assuming he's not in top 15), Rodriguez, Robbins, Almonte, Chalas, and Martinez is a joke to me. But, that's really nit picking since he's at 30. Love that Wendelken finally made the list. I really think he can be a Petricka type pitcher. Love that the young guys are finally coming into their own it looks like, like Cruz, Jarvis, Clark. I'm willing to bet Savala, Rodriguez, and Almonte will crack the top 30 next year. I think Erwin is too high, low 20s sounds right.
  17. I'll start another winning streak Thompson better be starting tonight assuming that he is up with the club.
  18. http://www.milb.com/scoreboard/index.jsp?s...mp;ymd=20150803 Birmingham- Leyer Kannapolis- Martinez AZL & DSL- TBA Charlotte, Winston Salem, and Great Falls all off today.
  19. QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Aug 3, 2015 -> 09:17 AM) I disagree with this. The team cannot keep signing free agents with Qualifying Offers. I think Upton, Heyward, and probably Wieters are off the table. Do you sign Cespedes then? There are no other free agents that are worthy of paying because they will all be 30+ years old, so then you would have to trade your prospects for hitting. Do you want to do that to improve this offense?
  20. QUOTE (LDF @ Aug 3, 2015 -> 08:45 AM) while that is not a bad idea, i have some concerns with that. 1. sox loosing a draft pick 2. the cost of the contract 3. is there a position that is more needed than the needs of the team?? By gaining a draft pick for Jeff, I think I could suffer our 1st round pick on a hitter because the 2 I mentioned (Upton and Heyward), Upton will be 28 and Heyward will be 26. Sox have LaRoche and Danks coming off the books next year and Sox had major interest in Heyward before he got traded to the Cards this past off season, so I think it definitely could be realistic in going after him. I then would package AVI in a deal for a 3B or another pitcher.
  21. Can Anderson go again? If so, then Anderson, May, Hawkins, Barnum, Jaye, and Delmonico.
  22. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Aug 3, 2015 -> 08:39 AM) If you want to know more on Thompson, here's our detailed profile. Also, here's a little teaser - Trayce made a nice jump up our Top 30 that comes out this week. With the deadline past now, when is the prospect list coming out?
  23. I love Jeff but, I would take the comp pick and use that money on a hitter in the off season like Upton, Cespedes, or Heyward.
