Locking up Jeffery long term was a priority. Now, it's a must with uncertainty of White. If he does come back healthy for next year, White, Jeffery, Royal ( 2 years), and Wilson is a good WR core for long term.

If we get a top 10 protected pick, I would definitely give up a 2nd round pick for Jason Heyward. Eat LaRoche's money or trade him and have Melky/Avi split time at DH.
